Pain in the testicle during football may happen due to strain, minor injury, excessive pressure, or aggravated Vata dosha affecting the groin area. It should not be ignored, especially if it started suddenly after an incident. Advice Avoid football and heavy running for a few days to give proper rest. Wear proper supportive undergarments while playing sports. Apply warm sesame oil gently around the groin area (not directly on severe pain) for Vata calming. Take warm water and avoid very cold foods/drinks. Include light anti-inflammatory foods like turmeric milk, ginger, and garlic in diet. Avoid excessive jumping, weight lifting, and long sitting.
