YOUR CONCERN AND PROBABLE CAUSES
Your symptoms: - PMS during 1–3 years - Mood swings - Some improvement with supplements
Probable Ayurvedic Causes: PMS symptoms such as irritability, being emotionally sensitive, and sudden mood changes are mainly caused by hormone fluctuations that come with age (perimenopause phase), stress, irregular digestion, low ojas, and vata–pitta imbalance.
INTERNAL MEDICATION
1. Shatavari Churna – 1 tsp with warm milk at night - Helps hormonal balance - Reduces emotional irritability - Also, do not take it with buttermilk as it lessens its strength in PMS.

With the right Ayurvedic treatment, mood swings caused by PMS will be very much better in 4–6 weeks. You are already going in the right direction — just require the right combinations and the proper form of Shatavari.

Yes also take Ashokarista 20ml bd, shatavari ghritam 1stp with milk enough
Shatavari with buttermilk is NOT ideal Shatavari is cooling & heavy. Buttermilk is also cooling + slightly sour and together they can increase Kapha & mood swings in some women.
Better way: Shatavari Kalpa OR plain Shatavari powder = 5–8 gm with warm milk (not buttermilk), only at night Ashwagandha – keep it, but timing matters Take Ashwagandha Lehyam OR capsule only morning (5–10 gm)
Follow this - 1 Shatavari – 5–8 gm night with warm milk 2 Ashwagandha – 5–10 gm morning with warm water/milk 3 Kumaryasava – 15 ml + 30 ml water after lunch & dinner (from Day 12 to Day 28)
Evening 5 PM – 1 small til-gud laddoo OR 1 tsp white sesame + mishri → instant serotonin boost
Stop buttermilk with Shatavari from today and switch to warm milk at night. Continue Ashwagandha morning. Add Kumaryasava from next cycle Day 12.
