लगातार पेट में जलन और शराब की लत से राहत पाने के लिए बेताब - #48237

Client_1b7060

Question text to translate:

HELLO,

WHAT IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING IN YOUR BODY?

Your problem is not just “gastritis”

From an Ayurvedic point of view, you are suffering from a chronic digestive fire disorder involving -Pitta (fire element )= excessive, uncontrolled heat -vata (air/nervous system)= fear, anxeity, dependence, irregular digestion -Grahani dysfunction= the organ responsible for digestio and absorption

In simple words Your stomach fire has become to sharp, unstable, and misdirected Instead of digesting food properly, it is burnin your stomach lining and nerves constinously

WHY DO DOCTOR’S SAY “MILD CHRONIC GASTRITIS” BUT YOU FEEL UNBEARABLE FIRE? Because -Endoscopy shows structural damage -Your pain is due to functional + nerve + fire imbalance

Ayurveda recognises this mismatch very well

This condition is called Pitta-Vata predominant Grahani with chronic Amlapitta

WHY THE BURNING NEVER STOPPED(Root causes)

Let’s connect your history

1) ANTIBIOTICS AND INCOMPLETE COURSES -destroyed gut flora -weakened digestive intelligence

2) ALCOHOL -Intially numbed nerves-> temporary relief -Long term-> severely increased pitta -created dependency because it calmed vata temporarily

3) REPEATED PPIs or Antacids -suppressed acid but never healed Agni(digestive fire) -made digestion weaker-> undigested food in stools

4) CHRONIC FEAR AND ANTICIPATION -Burning will start again -this activates vata, which further worsens pitta

This created a self-feeding loop Fire->Fear->Alcohol->more fire->more fear

TREATMENT GOALS Goal is not “acid suppression” Goal is Not "one miracle medicine

GOAL IS -Extinguish excess fire -heal stomach lining -stabilize nervous system -restore digestion gradually -break alcohol burning cycle safely This takes patience, but is is Possible

INTERNAL TREATMENT

A) MEDICINES TO REDUCE BURNING (pitta shamana)

1) KAMDUDHA RAS (without moti)= 1 tab twice daily with cool milk after meals =directly cools excessive gastric fire, one of the best medicines for burning without pain

2) AVIPATTIKAR CHURNA= 1/2 tsp at bedtime with water =remoes excess pitta through intestines, prevents acid back-flow and burning

3) SHANKHA BHASMA= 250mg twice daily after meals =neutralizes excss acidity, strengthens stomach lining, useful in chronic gastritis not responding to PPIs

B) MEDICINES TO HEAL STOMACH LINING

4) YASHTIMADHU CHURNA= 1/2 tsp twice daily before meals =coats and heals gastric mucosa, reduces inflammation and burning, very important for long standing cases

5) GUDUCHI SATVA= 500mg twice daily after meals with water =anti inflammatory, repairs gut and immunity, reduces pitta without weakening digestion

C) MEDICINES FOR MIND AND NERVOUS SYSTEM Without this burning will not fully heal

6) BRAHMI VATI= 1 tab at night =reduces anxiety, fear, obsessive focus on symptoms, stabilise vata

7) ASHWAGANDHA CHURNA= 1/2 tsp at night with warm milk =reduces withdrawal anxiety, improves nerve strength, helps gradually reduce alcohol dependency

EXTERNAL THERAPIES

OIL MASSAGE -sesame oil or coconut oil -3-4 times per week followed by warm water bath =reduces vata and anxiety

DIET -warm, soft, simple, non irritating food -soft rice, khichdi -bottle gourd, pumpkin, carrot well cooked -homemade buttermilk daytime onlyy -coconut water -warm milk

AVOID COMPLETELY -alcohol -tea, coffee -spicy, sour, fermented foods -late night eating -packaged food

HOME REMEDIES

1) COCONUT WATER -once daily -natural pitta coolant

2) FENNEL SEED WATER -boil 1 tsp fennel seeds, cool, sip -reduces burning and bloating

3) ALOE VERA JUICE (pure) -10-15 ml morning empty stomach -heals stomach lining

YOGA ASANAS -vajrasana after meals -pawanmuktasana -shavasana

PRANAYAM -Sheetali/sheetkari cooling breaths -Anulom Vilom

AVOID -kapalbhati -bhastrika -instense yoga

INVESTIGATIONS TO RULE OUT HIDDEN CAUSES Even if reports are normal these help clarity -H.pylori re-test (stool antigen) -Vitamin B12 -Magnesium -Liver function tests -Stool examination (malabsorption)

ABOUT ALCOHOL (honestly) You are not an alcoholic by character You became dependent because alcohol temporarily soothed your nervous fire

BUT -Alcohol is now the main reason healing is blocked -Stopping suddenly alone is dangerous Please seek medical support for tapering, even short term

This is strength, not failure

DURATION OF TREATMENT -Initial relief= 2-4 weeks -Significant improvement= 2-3 months -Deep healing = 6 months

This condition did not develop in weeks -It will not vanish in days

You are not broken beyond repair Your body is exhausted , inflamed, and scared

The fact that -you still feel hunger sometimes -tests show only mild changes -you are asking for help MEANS recovery is possible.

Please do not carry this alone anymore.

DO FOLLOW

HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL

THANK YOU

DR. MAITRI ACHARYA

WHAT YOU ARE DESCRIBING IS A LONG STANDING DISTURBANCE OF DIGESTIVE FUNCTION THAT HAS EVOLVED GRADUALLY OVER YEARS AND HAS NOW BECOME A SELF SUSTAINING CYCLE THIS CYCLE INVOLVES THE STOMACH LINING DIGESTIVE SECRETIONS GUT NERVES AND THE BODYS STRESS RESPONSE THIS DID NOT START AS A PSYCHOLOGICAL CONDITION AND IT IS NOT SIMPLY A PROBLEM OF EXCESS ACID IT BEGAN WITH A COMBINATION OF INFECTION STRONG ANTIBIOTICS IRREGULAR COMPLETION OF MEDICATION COURSES FREQUENT ALCOHOL INTAKE AND PROLONGED USE OF ACID SUPPRESSING DRUGS OVER TIME THESE FACTORS ALTERED THE NATURAL DIGESTIVE RHYTHM WEAKENED THE PROTECTIVE LINING OF THE STOMACH AND MADE THE ENTIRE SYSTEM OVERLY SENSITIVE AND REACTIVE

THE CONSTANT BURNING YOU FEEL EVEN WHEN ENDOSCOPY SHOWS ONLY MILD CHANGES IS A WELL RECOGNIZED CLINICAL STATE IN SUCH CASES THE STOMACH AND INTESTINAL NERVES BECOME HYPER RESPONSIVE THE SENSATION OF FIRE IS REAL AND INTENSE BUT IT IS NOT DIRECTLY PROPORTIONAL TO VISIBLE DAMAGE THIS IS WHY MULTIPLE TESTS APPEAR NEAR NORMAL WHILE YOUR SUFFERING CONTINUES THIS DOES NOT INVALIDATE YOUR PAIN IT EXPLAINS WHY CONVENTIONAL APPROACHES HAVE FAILED TO GIVE LASTING RELIEF

THE ABSENCE OF CLASSIC REFLUX PAIN OR ULCERS ALONG WITH CONSTANT BURNING LOSS OF APPETITE AND THE PRESENCE OF UNDIGESTED FOOD IN STOOL CLEARLY INDICATE THAT DIGESTIVE POWER IS WEAK AND DISORGANIZED RATHER THAN EXCESSIVE FOOD IS NOT BEING PROPERLY TRANSFORMED DIGESTIVE JUICES ARE IRREGULAR THE INNER LINING REMAINS EXPOSED AND IRRITATED IN THIS STATE SUPPRESSING ACID FURTHER DOES NOT HEAL THE PROBLEM AND IN MANY CASES MAKES THE SYSTEM MORE DEPENDENT AND FRAGILE

ALCOHOL HAS PROVIDED YOU TEMPORARY RELIEF NOT BECAUSE IT IS HEALING BUT BECAUSE IT MOMENTARILY RELAXES THE DIGESTIVE NERVES AND CREATES A FALSE SENSE OF COOLING AND EASE THIS TEMPORARY RELIEF HAS TRAPPED YOU IN A LOOP WHEN THE EFFECT WEARS OFF THE NERVOUS SYSTEM REACTS MORE STRONGLY LEADING TO INTENSE REBOUND BURNING OVER TIME THE BODY BEGINS TO ASSOCIATE RELIEF WITH ALCOHOL AND THIS CREATES PHYSIOLOGICAL DEPENDENCE THIS IS NOT A CHARACTER DEFECT THIS IS NOT A MORAL FAILURE THIS IS A BIOLOGICAL RESPONSE TO UNRELENTING PAIN AND DISTRESS

THE DAILY FEAR OF WAKING UP WITH BURNING THE CONSTANT ANTICIPATION THE FEELING OF BEING TRAPPED IN YOUR OWN BODY HAS KEPT YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM IN A CONTINUOUS STATE OF ALERT WHEN THE BODY NEVER FEELS SAFE IT CANNOT ENTER REPAIR MODE THIS IS WHY CHANGING MEDICINES FREQUENTLY TRYING MULTIPLE THERAPIES AND SEARCHING DESPERATELY FOR QUICK SOLUTIONS HAS ONLY ADDED TO THE EXHAUSTION

FROM AN AYURVEDIC CLINICAL PERSPECTIVE THIS IS A STATE OF DEEP DIGESTIVE EXHAUSTION AND HYPERSENSITIVITY THE APPROACH REQUIRED HERE IS NOT AGGRESSIVE IT IS NOT DETOX IT IS NOT ELIMINATION IT IS REBUILDING SOOTHING AND STABILIZATION THE DIGESTIVE LINING NEEDS PROTECTION THE DIGESTIVE PROCESS NEEDS GENTLE SUPPORT THE GUT NERVOUS SYSTEM NEEDS CALMING AND CONSISTENCY

THE MOST IMPORTANT PRINCIPLE FOR YOUR HEALING IS SIMPLICITY NO MORE EXPERIMENTATION NO MORE SUPPLEMENT HOPPING NO MORE INTERNET SEARCHING FOR MIRACLE CURES THIS CONTINUES TO SIGNAL DANGER TO YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM AND PREVENTS HEALING

THE FOLLOWING MEDICINES ARE INTENDED TO SOOTHE THE STOMACH LINING SUPPORT DIGESTION AND STABILIZE THE GUT NERVOUS RESPONSE AVIPATTIKAR TABLET ONE TABLET TWICE DAILY AFTER FOOD SHATAVARI POWDER HALF TEASPOON MIXED IN WARM WATER MORNING AND EVENING YASHTIMADHU POWDER HALF TEASPOON MIXED IN WARM WATER AT NIGHT BRAHMI VATI ONE TABLET AT NIGHT

THESE MEDICINES SHOULD BE TAKEN REGULARLY WITHOUT INTERRUPTION FOR SEVERAL WEEKS DO NOT ADD ANY OTHER MEDICINES OR SUPPLEMENTS DURING THIS PERIOD

YOUR CURRENT ALLOPATHIC MEDICATIONS SHOULD NOT BE STOPPED SUDDENLY ABRUPT WITHDRAWAL CAN WORSEN SYMPTOMS ANY REDUCTION SHOULD BE CONSIDERED ONLY AFTER THE BURNING STARTS TO STABILIZE AND SHOULD BE DONE GRADUALLY

DIET AT THIS STAGE IS NOT ABOUT RESTRICTION BUT ABOUT PROTECTION FOOD SHOULD BE SOFT WARM AND EASY TO DIGEST SMALL FREQUENT MEALS ARE ESSENTIAL LONG GAPS BETWEEN MEALS OR LARGE PORTIONS WILL INCREASE BURNING APPETITE WILL RETURN GRADUALLY AS THE SYSTEM CALMS

ONLY WARM WATER SHOULD BE CONSUMED THROUGHOUT THE DAY COLD DRINKS AERATED BEVERAGES PACKAGED JUICES AND ICED ITEMS SHOULD BE AVOIDED

ALCOHOL SHOULD NOT BE STOPPED ABRUPTLY AT THIS POINT SUDDEN WITHDRAWAL CAN INTENSIFY BURNING AND ANXIETY REDUCTION MUST BE GRADUAL CONTROLLED AND NON JUDGMENTAL THE GOAL IS STABILITY FIRST NOT PERFECTION

YOU SHOULD UNDERSTAND THAT HEALING IN THIS CONDITION IS NOT IMMEDIATE IN THE FIRST TWO TO THREE WEEKS THE GOAL IS REDUCTION IN INTENSITY NOT COMPLETE DISAPPEARANCE EVEN A SLIGHT REDUCTION IN BURNING IS A POSITIVE SIGN WITH CONTINUED CONSISTENCY THE SYSTEM CAN BE RETRAINED TO FUNCTION NORMALLY

THIS CONDITION IS TREATABLE IT IS NOT LIFE LIMITING YOUR BODY HAS NOT LOST ITS ABILITY TO HEAL IT HAS ONLY BEEN OVERWORKED OVERMEDICATED AND OVERSTIMULATED

DISCIPLINE CONSISTENCY AND PATIENCE ARE REQUIRED NOT FORCE NOT SELF BLAME NOT DESPAIR

YOU HAVE BEEN SUFFERING FOR YEARS AND YOU ARE STILL SEEKING HELP THAT ITSELF SHOWS RESILIENCE EVEN IF YOU DO NOT FEEL STRONG RIGHT NOW

WITH THE RIGHT SUPPORT AND A STEADY APPROACH YOUR DIGESTIVE SYSTEM CAN RECOVER AND YOU CAN RETURN TO A FUNCTIONAL NORMAL LIFE THIS PROCESS TAKES TIME BUT IT IS POSSIBLE AND MEDICALLY SOUND

YOU ARE NOT ALONE IN THIS AND YOU ARE NOT BEYOND HELP

Dr. Sara Garg
I am someone who believes Ayurveda isn’t just some old system — it’s alive, and actually still works when you use it the way it's meant to be used. My practice mostly revolves around proper Ayurvedic diagnosis (rogi & roga pariksha types), Panchakarma therapies, and ya also a lot of work with herbal medicine — not just prescribing but sometimes preparing stuff myself when needed. I really like that hands-on part actually, like knowing where the herbs came from and how they're processed... changes everything. One of the things I pay a lot of attention to is how a person's lifestyle is playing into their condition. Food, sleep, bowel habits, even small emotional patterns that people don't even realize are affecting their digestion or immunity — I look at all of it before jumping to treatment. Dietary therapy isn’t just telling people to eat less fried food lol. It’s more about timing, combinations, seasonal influence, and what suits their prakriti. That kind of detail takes time, and sometimes patients don’t get why it matters at first.. but slowly it clicks. Panchakarma — I do it when I feel it's needed. Doesn’t suit everyone all the time, but in the right case, it really clears the stuck layers. But again, it's not magic — people need to prep properly and follow instructions. That's where strong communication matters. I make it a point to explain everything without dumping too much Sanskrit unless they’re curious. I also try to keep things simple, like I don’t want patients feeling intimidated or overwhelmed with 10 things at once. We go step by step — sometimes slow, sometimes quick depending on the case. There’s no “one protocol fits all” in Ayurveda and frankly I get bored doing same thing again and again. Whether it’s a fever that won’t go or long-term fatigue or gut mess — I usually go deep into what's behind it. Surface-level fixes don’t last. I rather take the time than rush into wrong herbs. It’s more work, ya, but makes a diff in long run.

Hlo,

You are dealing with three conditions feeding into each other: Chronic functional gastritis / visceral hypersensitivity – This explains burning without ulcers, pain, or reflux, normal tests, and no trigger pattern – The stomach nerves are over-sensitized after years of irritation Alcohol-dependent relief loop – Alcohol temporarily numbs stomach nerves → next day rebound acid + nerve firing – This creates withdrawal-associated gastric burning, which is very real Severe anxiety + depression due to long-term suffering – Morning fear, hyper-focus on stomach, hopelessness, emotional exhaustion – This amplifies gastric nerve pain through the brain-gut axis

👉 PPIs, antibiotics, supplements will not fix nerve-driven burning 👉 That’s why nothing has worked for 6 years

✨✨✨I need to say this clearly✨✨✨ Alcohol is now worsening your stomach burning, not healing it, even though it feels like relief. Stopping alcohol without medical support can make: stomach burning explode anxiety become unbearable sleep impossible depression dangerous ⚠️ This is NOT a willpower issue. This is a medical condition.

You do not need more supplements. You do not need another endoscopy. You do not need stronger PPIs. You need nerve calming + gut healing + safe alcohol withdrawal support.

Ayurveda can help, but only if done correctly and safely. ❌ What Ayurveda will NOT fix alone: alcohol withdrawal burning severe nerve hypersensitivity depression from chronic pain

✅ What Ayurveda CAN help: soothe gastric nerve fire heal inflamed gastric lining regulate digestion gently support long-term recovery after stabilization

SAFE Ayurvedic protocol ⚠️ Do NOT take anything with alcohol. ⚠️ Avoid bhasma, metals, strong detox therapies. Core Ayurvedic support (gentle, nerve-soothing)

1. Yashtimadhu (Licorice) powder Dose: ½ tsp in warm water, twice daily Before meals Soothes burning, coats gastric nerves

2. Shatavari powder Dose: ½ tsp with warm milk or water at night Strong gastric cooling, nerve-calming

3. Kamdudha Ras (plain, without gold) Dose: 1 tablet twice daily After food Very effective for constant gastric fire

4. Avipattikar Churna Dose: ½ tsp at bedtime with warm water Only once daily Gentle regulation, not harsh

Diet rules (simple, not restrictive) For now, forget “eat everything” — that goal comes later.

Eat only warm, soft, simple food: rice porridge dal water boiled vegetables banana oats

❌ Avoid: coffee spicy food supplements raw salads protein powders

I strongly, genuinely urge you to do ONE of these immediately:

Visit a psychiatrist or physician and say clearly: “I have alcohol dependence and severe gastric burning during withdrawal.”

They can prescribe non-addictive nerve-calming medications that: reduce stomach burning help alcohol withdrawal calm anxiety restore sleep

Hello Thank you for opening up. You’ve been through hell, honestly. Six years of that burning feeling in your gut—anyone would be exhausted and desperate by now. You’re not weak, not broken, and definitely not past saving. What you’re feeling is real, and you deserve real care for it. You’re not alone in this.

YOUR CONCERN

–Main problem: nonstop, severe burning in your stomach –How long: since 2019, so about six years –How bad: intense, constant, messes with your life every day Other stuff: –No appetite –Food isn’t digesting—shows up undigested in your stool –You wake up anxious, scared –You lean on alcohol for relief –You’re isolated, low, probably feeling pretty hopeless sometimes

–Tests: You’ve had several endoscopies—just mild chronic gastritis shows up. H. pylori got treated.

–Current meds: High-dose PPIs (Esomeprazole 40mg twice a day), Domperidone, Sucralfate.

–What helps: Alcohol soothes the burn, but the pain comes back even worse once you stop.

IMPORTANT

What’s happening isn’t just “gastritis.” It’s not just about acid or infection. This is your gut and nervous system locked in a bad cycle. And look, alcohol isn’t the villain here—it gave you some relief when nothing else did. But now it’s made things worse and created a new problem on top of the original one.

You can get better. This is treatable

AYURVEDIC UNDERSTANDING

From an Ayurvedic point of view, this is a fierce Vata-Pitta disorder with Grahani (gut function) and mind-gut axis issues mixed in.

Your digestive “fire” is misfiring—not just too much acid. So you get burning, but without ulcers, and your food isn’t breaking down right. That’s why your appetite is shot, and there’s undigested stuff in your stool.

Pitta is stuck in your stomach because Vata’s out of balance. So you get burning, but PPIs and antacids don’t help, since it’s not the usual acid problem.

Alcohol, for a while, calmed down the Vata and numbed things, which is why it helped at first. But long-term, it’s wrecked your digestion, irritated your gut, and made your nerves more sensitive. That’s why things get worse when you stop drinking, and why mornings are so rough.

There’s also a breakdown in your gut-brain connection. The fear of the burning, the constant anxiety, depression, feeling like tests are “normal” but you feel miserable—that’s all part of it.

We have to be clear:

More antibiotics? No. Higher doses of PPIs? Won’t fix this. Random supplements? Not gonna work. Alcohol? It’s feeding the cycle now, not helping.

You need a step-by-step, gentle approach that works with your nervous system, not against it.

What’s the goal? Calm the “fire” in your gut without killing your digestion. Steady your nerves. Fix the gut function. Slowly, safely move away from alcohol. Get your appetite and confidence back. Get your life back.

AYURVEDIC PLAN OF TREATMENT

INTERNAL MEDICATION

– Kamdudha Ras (plain, no Mukta): 1 tab twice a day, empty stomach, room temp water. This is the core medicine—cools the fire without shutting down digestion, and it’s safe when used right.

– Shatavari Churna: 1 tsp twice a day with warm milk or water. Deep cooling, soothes your gut lining, calms the anxiety that hits your stomach.

– Bilva Avaleha: 1 tsp before lunch and dinner. Repairs gut function, helps you digest food, stops undigested stools.

– Drakshasava: 15ml + equal water after lunch. Gently relaxes your nerves, boosts appetite, helps dial down alcohol cravings.

– Ashwagandha (low dose, 250mg at night): Steadies your nervous system, eases fear and withdrawal, supports the gut-brain link.

Big warning about alcohol:

Don’t try to quit suddenly and alone. That can make everything worse—burning, anxiety, even your health. Taper off slowly, ideally with medical help or a de-addiction specialist. You’re not being judged. This is medical care, not a moral failing.

DIET PLAN

✅INCLUDE Rice gruel Oats Moong dal Steamed veggies Coconut water Warm milk

❌Avoid for now: Spicy food Coffee Raw foods Late-night meals

When you start feeling better, you’ll have food freedom again.

You’re 32. Your body’s just asking for a new kind of help. If things ever feel too much, and you feel like you’re losing control, please reach out for help—right away.

Warm Regards Dr Snehal Vidhate

I am Dr. Snehal Vidhate, born n brought up in Maharashtra—and honestly, for as long as I remember I’ve felt this pull towards Ayurveda. Not the fancy version ppl throw around, but the deep, real kind that actually helps ppl. I did my BAMS from YMT Ayurvedic Medical College in Kharghar. That’s where I got my basics strong—like really studied the shastras, understood prakriti, doshas, the whole deal. Not just crammed theory but started to see how it shows up in real lives. After finishing BAMS, I got into this one-year certificate course at Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth, Delhi—honestly a turning point. I was super lucky to learn Kerala Ayurveda from my Guru, Prof. Dr. G.G. Gangadharan. He’s got this way of seeing things... simple but deep. That time with him taught me more than any textbook ever could. It kinda reshaped how I look at health, healing n how precise Ayurveda can be when you respect its roots. Right now I’m doing my MD in Panchakarma from SDM Ayurveda College, Bangalore. This place is like a hub for serious Ayurveda work. The Panchakarma training here? Super intense. We go deep into detoxification & rasayana therapy—not just theory again, but hands-on. I’m learning to blend classical techniques with today’s clinical demands.. like how to make Vamana or Basti actually doable in modern patient setups. My current practice is really about merging tradition with logic. Whether it’s chronic skin issues, gut problems, stress burnout or hormone stuff—my goal is to get to the root, not just hush the symptoms. I use Panchakarma when needed, but also a lot of ahara-vihara tweaks, medhya herbs, sometimes just slowing ppl down a bit helps. I really believe Ayurveda’s power is in its simplicity when done right. I don’t try to fix ppl—I work *with* them. And honestly, every patient teaches me something back.

I am working right now as a Consultant Ayurvedic Ano-Rectal Surgeon at Bhrigu Maharishi Ayurvedic Hospital in Nalgonda—and yeah, that name’s quite something, but what really keeps me here is the kind of cases we get. My main focus is managing ano-rectal disorders like piles (Arsha), fistula-in-ano (Bhagandara), fissure-in-ano (Parikartika), pilonidal sinus, and rectal polyps. These are often more complex than they look at first, and they get misdiagnosed or overtreated in a lotta places. That’s where our classical tools come in—Ksharasutra therapy, Agnikarma, and a few other para-surgical techniques we follow from the Samhitas...they’ve been lifesavers honestly. My work here pushes me to keep refining surgical precision while also sticking to the Ayurvedic core. I do rely on modern diagnostics when needed, but I won’t replace the value of a well-done Nadi Pariksha or assessing dosha-vikruti in depth. Most of my patients come with pain, fear, and usually after a couple of rounds of either incomplete surgeries or just being fed painkillers n antibiotics. And I totally get that frustration. That’s why I combine surgery with a whole support plan—Ayurvedic meds, diet changes, lifestyle tweaks that actually match their prakriti. Not generic stuff off a handout. Over time, I’ve seen that when people follow the whole protocol, not just the procedure part, the recurrence drops a lot. I’m quite particular about follow-up and wound care too, ‘cause we’re dealing with delicate areas here and ignoring post-op can ruin outcomes. Oh and yeah—I care a lot about educating folks too. I talk to patients in OPD, sometimes give community talks, just to tell people they do have safer options than cutting everything out under GA! I still study Shalya Tantra like it’s a living document. I try to stay updated with whatever credible advancements are happening in Ayurvedic surgery, but I filter what’s fluff and what’s actually useful. At the end of the day, my aim is to offer respectful, outcome-based care that lets patients walk out without shame or fear. That’s really what keeps me grounded in this field.

Dr. M.Sushma
I am Dr. Sushma M and yeah, I’ve been in Ayurveda for over 20 yrs now—honestly still learning from it every day. I mostly work with preventive care, diet logic, and prakriti-based guidance. I mean, why wait for full-blown disease when your body’s been whispering for years, right? I’m kinda obsessed with that early correction part—spotting vata-pitta-kapha imbalances before they spiral into something deeper. Most ppl don’t realize how much power food timing, digestion rhythm, & basic routine actually have… until they shift it. Alongside all that classical Ayurveda, I also use energy medicine & color therapy—those subtle layers matter too, esp when someone’s dealing with long-term fatigue or emotional heaviness. These things help reconnect not just the body, but the inner self too. Some ppl are skeptical at first—but when you treat *beyond* the doshas, they feel it. And I don’t force anything… I just kinda match what fits their nature. I usually take time understanding a person’s prakriti—not just from pulse or skin or tongue—but how they react to stress, sleep patterns, their relationship with food. That whole package tells the story. I don’t do textbook treatment lines—I build a plan that adjusts *with* the person, not on top of them. Over the years, watching patients slowly return to their baseline harmony—that's what keeps me in it. I’ve seen folks come in feeling lost in symptoms no one explained… and then walk out weeks later understanding their body better than they ever did. That, to me, is healing. Not chasing symptoms, but restoring rhythm. I believe true care doesn’t look rushed, or mechanical. It listens, observes, tweaks gently. That's the kind of Ayurveda I try to practice—not loud, but deeply rooted.

Dr. Maitri Bhavesh Kumar Acharya
I am Dr. Maitri, currently in my 2nd year of MD in Dravyaguna, and yeah, I run my own Ayurvedic clinic in Ranoli where I’ve been seeing patients for 2 years now. Honestly, what pulled me into this path deeper is how powerful herbs really are—when used right. Not just randomly mixing churnas but actually understanding their rasa, virya, vipaka etc. That’s kinda my zone, where textbook knowledge meets day-to-day case handling. My practice revolves around helping people with PCOD, acne, dandruff, back pain, stiffness in knees or joints that never seem to go away. And I don’t jump to giving a long list of medicines straight away—first I spend time figuring out their prakriti, their habits, food cycle, what triggers what… basically all the small stuff that gets missed. Then comes the plan—herbs (single or compound), some diet reshuffling, and always some lifestyle nudges. Sometimes they’re tiny, like sleep timing. Sometimes big like proper seasonal detox. Being into Dravyaguna helps me get into the depth of herbs more confidently. I don’t just look at the symptom—I think okay what guna will counter this? Should the drug be snigdha, ushna, tikta? Is there a reverse vipaka that’ll hurt the agni? I ask these questions before writing any combo. That’s made a huge diff in outcomes. Like I had this case of chronic urticaria that would flare up every week, and just tweaking the herbs based on sheetala vs ushna nature... helped calm the system in 3 weeks flat. Not magic, just logic. I also work with women who are struggling with hormonal swings, mood, delayed periods or even unexplained breakouts. When hormones go haywire, the skin shows, digestion slows, and mind gets foggy too. I keep my approach full-circle—cleansing, balancing, rejuvenating. No quick fixes, I tell them early on. What I’m hoping to do more of now is make Ayurveda feel practical. Not overwhelming. Just simple tools—ahara, vihara, aushadha—used consistently, with some trust in the body’s own healing. I’m still learning, still refining, but honestly, seeing people feel in control of their health again—that’s what keeps me rooted to this.

Dr.

Dr. Narendrakumar V Mishra
I am a Consulting Ayurvedic Physician practicing since 1990—feels strange saying “over three decades” sometimes, but yeah, that’s the journey. I’ve spent these years working closely with chronic conditions that don’t always have clear answers in quick fixes. My main work has been around skin disorders, hair fall, scalp issues, and long-standing lifestyle stuff like diabetes, arthritis, and stress that kinda lingers under everything else. When someone walks into my clinic, I don’t jump to treat the problem on the surface. I start by understanding their *prakriti* and *vikriti*—what they’re made of, and what’s currently out of sync. That lets me build treatment plans that actually *fit* their system—not just push a medicine and hope it works. I use a mix of classical formulations, panchakarma if needed, dietary corrections, and slow, practical lifestyle changes. No overnight miracle talk. Just steady support. Hair fall and skin issues often feel cosmetic from outside—but internally? It’s about digestion, stress, liver, hormones... I’ve seen patients try 10+ things before landing in front of me. And sometimes they just need someone to *listen* before throwing herbs at the problem. That’s something I never skip. With arthritis and diabetes too, I take the same root-cause path. I give Ayurvedic medicines, but also work with *dinacharya*, *ahar* rules, and ways to reduce the load modern life puts on the body. We discuss sleep, food timing, mental state, all of it. I’ve also worked a lot with people dealing with high stress—career burnout, anxiety patterns, overthinking—and my approach there includes Ayurvedic counseling, herbal mind support, breathing routines... depends what suits them. My foundation is built on classical *samhitas*, clinical observation, and actual time with patients—not theories alone. My goal has always been simple: to help people feel well—not just for a few weeks, but in a way that actually lasts. Healing that feels like *them*, not just protocol. That’s what I keep aiming for.

I am honestly trying to sum up my 10+ years in Ayurveda, and sometimes I feel like the words don’t fully catch what those years really meant. I worked across different setups, a mix of opd days, longer case followups and those moments where I had to rethink a treatment plan because the patient wasn’t responding the way I first expectd. Those things shaped me more than any textbook page honestly. I focus a lot on understanding how a person’s routine n habits shape their health, and I use classical Ayurvedic principles to guide most decisions… though there are days when I go back and recheck the basics again to make sure I am doing it right. My work in these years has made me comfortable handling a wide range of cases, from common digestive trbls to joint issues and skin concerns, and sometimes the more slow-moving lifestyle disorders where patience becomes a kind of treatment too. I try to keep my consultasions more like a conversation than a prescription-giving moment. I’ve seen how patients open up when they realise I’m looking for the root cause, not just the symptom. Diet correction, daily routine fixes, small mind-body adjustments—these things are simple but they shift a lot when done properly, and I’ve watched that happen dozens of times. I also keep learning, even now, sometimes going through old notes or attending quick sessions to refresh things I might have overlooked. And somewhere in these years, I think I developed a steady kind of confidence—not loud, just practical—that comes from seeing what works again and again. I’m still refining my approach, still figuring better ways to guide people, but my aim stayed same through all these years: offer care that feels real, personal, rooted in Ayurveda and still adaptable to the way people live today.

Dr. Ayush Bansal
I am an Ayurveda doctor with about 1 yr of hands on clinical practice, still learning everyday from patients and the science itself. My journey started as a VOPD doctor with Hiims Hospital under Jeena Sikho Lifecare Ltd. For 6 months I was into virtual consultations, understanding cases online, preparing treatment protocols and doing follow ups to track progress. That phase trained me well in quick patient assesment and also in explaining Ayurveda in a way that fit with modern expectations. I dealt with many chronic and acute cases during that time.. things like gastric issues, joint pain, stress related complaints, skin problems. The remote setting forced me to sharpen my diagnostic skill and rely more on careful history taking, prakriti analysis, and lifestyle understanding. After that, I moved to a Resident Doctor role at Chauhan Ayurved and Panchkarma Hospital, Udaipur. This was very different.. more practical, hands on, and really grounded me in classical Panchakarma. I was actively part of planning and performing therapies like Vamana, Virechana, Basti, Abhyanga, Shirodhara, and other detox and rejuvenation procedures. Many patients came with long standing spine issues, metabolic disorders, skin complaints, or hormonal imbalance and I got to see how tailored Panchakarma protocols and lifestyle advice together can bring changes that medicines alone couldn’t. Working closely with senior consultants gave me better clarity on safety, step by step planning and how to balance classical texts with practical hospital settings. Now, whether in OPD consultations or Panchkarma wards, I try to meet patients with empathy and patience. I focus on root cause correction, using herbs, diet, daily routine guidance, and therapy whenever needed. My belief is that Ayurveda should be accessible and authentic, not complicated or intimidating. My aim is simple—help people move towards long term wellness, not just temporary relief. I see health as balance of body, mind and routine.. and I want my practice to guide patients gently into that space.

I am still learning how to describe myself without sounding too stiff, but I do feel that my personal and inter-personal skills shape a big part of how I work. I try to stay approachable and not make pts feel rushed, even on days when time is slipping fast. I listen first, maybe longer than needed sometimes, just to catch the small hints in their words or their silence. I end up absorbing a bit of their pain or worry too, and then I remind myself to stay focused so I can actually help them, not just feel it. I am seeing people as whole beings, not just their symptoms or test values, and that keeps my treatment more grounded. I explain things in simple ways, though I get tangled in my phrasing here and there, but I make sure they and their family know what we’re doing and why. I try to stay honest even when the truth is slow progess or a rough patch in the condition. I am pretty dedicated to ethical practice, sometimes to the point where I double-check a simple step, and I don’t mind spending extra time if it means the plan is right. I push myself to keep learning, reading, attending discussions, all without getting scared of criticism, though a harsh comment stings me for a bit. I enjoy public interaction too—talking to groups, answering doubts, explaining Ayurveda without overcomplicating it. I am still shaping these skills every day, but they guide me in giving care that feels human, steady and trustworthy, even on the messy days when I am juggling too many things at once.

Dr. Janvi Dhera
I am a doctor who completed CCH and CGO from Wadia hospital, and that training gave me exposure not just in theory but also in handling patients with very diverse needs. Over time I have treated many cases of chronic skin conditions, gut related disorders and also anorectal issues like piles, fissure and similar complaints. Each case felt different, no two patients respond the same way, and I learnt how to adapt treatment according to prakriti, diet habits, stress levels. Skin problems always catch attention first — psoriasis, eczema, acne that stays for years — but I understood that they often start from inside, from digestion or blood impurities. Gut issues like acidity, constipation, IBS are also common in my practice, and here small corrections in food timing or herbs can change a lot. Anorectal cases, especially piles and fissure, are painful both physically and mentally for patients, so I try to bring a treatment plan that is safe, non-invasive when possible, and focused on long term relief not just temporary fixes. Working with such variety of disorders also taught me patience. Some patients want fast results, but Ayurveda needs time to clean the root cause. I explain them carefully, sometimes repeating many times, that slow healing is stronger healing. Building that trust is important. My approach is always to combine herbal formulations, diet advice, and lifestyle correction with procedures when required, to ensure balance is restored and maintained. For me, Ayurveda is not a set of ready remedies but a flexible science that adapts to each person. Whether it’s skin, gut or anorectal problems, my focus stays on listening, understanding and guiding patients with clarity, honesty and steady support.

I am a BAMS graduate and currently running my own clinic, where I see patients on a regular basis and try to give them honest, practical care. My daily work involves understanding different health concerns, listening properly to what the patient is going through, and then planning treatment in a way that actually fits their routine. I believe treatment should not feel confusing or rushed, and sometimes even small changes make a big difference. Running my own clinic has taught me a lot about responsibility and consistency. Some days are busy, some are slow, but every patient brings a different challenge and learning. I focus mainly on Ayurvedic treatment methods, lifestyle correction and long-term health balance, rather than quick fixes. There are times when progress takes longer, but I stay patient and keep working with the person step by step. I try to keep my approach simple, practical and honest. For me, real success is when a patient feels better in daily life, sleeps better, eats better and slowly regains balance. That is what keeps me going and improving every day.
