HELLO Some leham formulations especially those with astringent or heavy medication herbs can slow bowel movement or alter digestion temporarily, especially if your digestive fire is weak. This can cause constipation, bloating, heaviness and reduced appetite. Ayurveda sees this as a sign of vata imbalance and ama (undigested toxins) accumulation WHAT YOU SHOULD DO NOW DAILY ROUTINE 1) WARM WATER first thing in morning -drink a glass of warm water when you wake up to “awaken” digestion. 2) TRIPHALA AT NIGHT -take 1/2 tsp triphala powder with warm water before bed- this gently regulates bowel movement and relieves bloating over time 3) GINGER AND FENNEL TEA AFTER MEALS -Make ginger-fennel tea 1/2 tsp grated ginger + 1/2 tsp fennel seeds boiled in water to improve digestion and reduce gas (vata) 4) AVOID COLD/ICY FOODS AND DRINKS -Cold foods slow digestive fire.prefer warm meals 5) LIGHT ABDOMINAL MASSAGE -Use warm sesame oil and massage clockwise around the navel- this gentle stimulates bowel motility 6) FIBER + FLUIDS -Soaked Isabgol with warm water at night softens stool (mix with warm water and drink immediately) WELL KNOWN OPTIONS TO CONSIDER 1) KUTAJWATWAGADI LEHAM= supports healthy digestion, reduces bloating and gut discomfort 2) BILWADI LEHAM= digestive tonic, good for gas and heaviness after meals If the products you’re taking is clearly causing worsening constipation or discomfort, it’s reasonable to pause it for a day or two while doing above measures then restart if it suits your digestion . LIFESTYLE -Light exercise walk 20-30 min daily boosts gut motility YOGA -pawanmuktasana -malasana =both help ease gas REGULAR MEAL times improve digestive rhythm INTERNALLY 1) TRIPHALA CHURNA= 1/2 tsp with warm water at bedtime 2) HINGWASTAKA CHURNA= 1/2 tsp with warm water before meals= for bloating and gas 3) AVIPAATIKAR CHURNA= 1/2tsp before meals with water if also have acidity / indigestion DOFOLLOW HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL THANK YOU DR. MAITRI ACHARYA

Hello I get how difficult it feels when you’re super bloated and can’t, go after taking lehyam – especially since you’ve been dealing with this for ages. But dont worry we are here to help you out 😊 AYURVEDIC UNDERSTANDING Okay, so your symptoms point to gas being trapped in your colon and intestines. Usually, Leham is good for you and kind of oily. BUT, if: – Your digestion is weak – You’ve already got gas – Things are moving slowly down there Then Leham might make things worse by blocking stuff up and causing: – Major bloating above your belly button – Rock-hard stools – Gas pressure – That heavy feeling Also, eating a bunch of fiber without good digestion can make gas and constipation worse. The fiber just sits there instead of helping! What We Need to Fix – Get rid of the trapped gas. – Clear the blockage in your colon. – Get your digestion working again. – Keep this from happening again. What To Do Right Away 1. Stop taking Leham. It’s making things worse right now. Seriously, don’t take anymore. Quick Fix for Gas & Constipation Morning (Empty Stomach) Mix: 1 tsp Castor oil + 1 cup warm milk Take this once a day for just 2–3 days. This should help clear things out safely. Before Lunch & Dinner Take: 1 Hingvashtak Churna– ½ tsp With warm water This helps get rid of gas and bloating. At Bedtime Take: 1. Triphala powder – 1 tsp In warm water This should help you have a normal bowel movement. For Gut Problems That Keep Coming Back Once you’re less bloated, start taking: Avipattikar Churna ½ tsp twice a day before you eat. This helps your digestion get back to normal and stops gas. DIET PLAN ❌AVOID – Raw salads – Sprouts – Oats – Apples – Banana – Yogurt – Milk with meals – Cold drinks These things make gas worse when your gut is already a problem. ✅Eat: – Rice – Khichdi (A dish made from Lentils and Rice.) – Steamed veggies – Ghee(Indian Butter) – Buttermilk with roasted cumin – Warm cooked food only Drink warm water every 30–40 minutes. Lifestyle Tips – Don’t hold in stool or gas (just don’t!). – Walk for 10 minutes after you eat. – Sleep on your left side. – Don’t eat late at night. What you’re dealing with isn’t dangerous, but it shows that the medicine you took wasn’t right for your gut. Once the gas and blockage are gone, you’ll feel much better. I’m here to help you get better. Warm Regards Dr. Snehal Vidhate

Stop Leham immediately (at least 7–10 days). Many Leham preparations (especially strong Vajikarana or Rasayana types) are heavy, sweet & heating and they slow digestion, increase Kapha which cause constipation, bloating & loss of appetite in sensitive people. ✓What to do right now (start today) Medicines Triphala Churna – 3–5 gm night with warm water Hingwashtak Churna – ½–1 tsp after lunch & dinner with warm water Avipattikar Churna – 3 gm at bedtime with warm water ✓Diet for next 5–7 days (very light) Only thin moong dal khichdi + 1 tsp ghee + rock salt Pomegranate, boiled apple/pear, coconut water Small meals every 3 hours Avoid: heavy, oily, sweet, dairy (except tiny ghee), raw food, late dinner ✓Daily Must-Do Vajrasana – 10 min after every meal (releases gas, improves peristalsis) Warm sesame oil gentle abdominal massage clockwise 5–10 min night → hot water bag Sip warm jeera + saunf water all day (2–2.5 L) ✓When to restart Leham (if needed) After symptoms resolve (7–10 days) then restart very low dose (½ tsp once at night with warm milk + ghee) Or switch to lighter nourishing leham like Chyawanprash (sugar-free) Regards Dr Gursimran Jeet Singh MD Panchakarma
