But don’t worry we are here to help you out 😊 AYURVEDIC UNDERSTANDING So, your daughter’s dealing with: – Constipation that’s been around a while – Not feeling like she needs to go – Feeling like she’s not emptying all the way – Tummy troubles – Cracked lip corners AYURVEDIC UNDERSTANDING – Her Apana Vata (that’s the downward energy) is a bit weak, so things aren’t moving as they should. – Her Agni (digestive fire) isn’t as strong as it could be, leading to digestion issues. – There’s some dryness and heat in her intestines, making things hard. – She might not be absorbing nutrients well, which is causing those lip cracks. The lip cracks are often from not getting enough B-vitamins, iron, and good stuff because of the constipation. Why Fiber and Laxatives Didn’t Cut It Upping the fiber without fixing the Vata can actually cause gas, dry stools, and that not empty feeling. She probably doesn’t need more fiber; she likely needs help with lubrication and getting her digestion back on track. The Plan 1. Get Rid of That Dryness: Before bed: A teaspoon of Triphala powder with warm milk and a teaspoon of ghee. (This softens things up, helps her feel the urge to go, and can heal her gut.) 2. Wake Up the Bowel Nerves: First thing in the AM on an empty stomach: 20 ml of Abhayarishta with the same amount of warm water. (This kinda wakes up the Apana Vata and helps with complete evacuation.) 3. Fix the Lip Cracks and Get Those Nutrients Up After meals: 1.kamdugha mukta vati One tablet twice a day 2 Draksharishta twice a day after eating. Also, put some cow ghee or coconut oil on those lip corners, like, three times a day. 4. Heal the Gut: Before lunch and dinner: Half a teaspoon of Avipattikar powder with warm water. (This helps reduce heat and dryness in the colon.) What She Should and Shouldn’t EatAVOID Tea, coffee, bakery stuff, too many salads, dry snacks, and big late dinners. ✅ INCLUDE Warm cooked foods, ghee, khichdi, stewed apples, papaya, soaked raisins, and always warm water. Potty Training Have her sit on the toilet for about 10 minutes every morning after breakfast, even if she doesn’t feel like she has to go. It’s like retraining the colon.
