-Normal stool frequency can range from 3 times per week to 3 times per day. So, 2–3 times daily is within normal limits, even though you describe it as tight. “Soft but formed” is considered a healthy consistency . -Since this has been stable for more than 6 months and there are no alarming symptoms, there’s no need to worry.

📌 Is This Normal? Passing stool 2–3 times daily can be completely normal if: ✅ No pain ✅ No blood ✅ No mucus ✅ No weight loss ✅ Patient feels relieved Frequency alone is not disease. 🔎 But There Is One Confusion Earlier you mentioned: “Stool tight” But also selected “Soft but formed” If stool is soft and formed → it is normal. If stool is hard and dry → mild constipation tendency. 🌿 Ayurvedic Understanding This looks like: Mild Vata in pakvashaya Slight dryness of colon Not IBS (because no pain) Not severe constipation (because stool passes easily) 🌿 What To Advise (Simple Plan) If stool is slightly hard: Night: 👉 1 tsp Triphala churna with warm water OR 👉 5–7 soaked raisins at bedtime If stool is normal but frequent: No medicine required. Just: Warm water in morning Regular meal timing Avoid excessive tea/coffee 🚨 Red Flag Symptoms Refer for investigation if: Blood in stool Severe bloating Weight loss Sudden change in pattern 🎯 Final Opinion From your description → This looks like functional bowel habit, not pathology. If you tell me: Patient age Any stress Any thyroid issue Any diabetes I can give more precise guidance 🌿
