Doctors' responses

----Your constipation and stomach upset are likely due to low water intake, spicy/heavy foods, and slow digestion. Since this has been going on for more than 6 months and happens after every meal, we need to correct bowel movement first. Increase fluids, add fiber like isabgol at night, reduce spicy and fried foods, and limit sweets. If symptoms continue or there is pain, weight loss, or blood in stool, further tests may be needed. ----Assessment: Vata-Pitta dushti with Vibandha + Amlapitta features —Rx: 1)Tab. Livtone – 1 tab twice daily after meals 2)avipattikar churn– 1/2 tsf twice daily before meals 3)Tab. Triphala – 1 tabs at bedtime with warm water 4)Tab. Gandharva Haritaki (if constipation is severe) – 1 tab at bedtime —Advice: Avoid spicy, fried, and excess sweets. Increase lukewarm water intake. Buttermilk with jeera after lunch. —Follow-up: 4 weeks.

HELLO, Your symptoms suggest a chronic digestive imbalance (more than 6 months). In Ayurveda, this pattern commonly reflects -Vata aggravation-> constipation, dryness, low urge for water -Pitta aggravation-> burning/ upset stomach after spicy foods -Weak or irregular digestive fire When Agni is disturbed, even a balanced diet can create discomfort 1) CORRECTING CONSTIPATION DAILY ROUTINE -Drink 1-2 glasses of warm water in the morning (room temperature is fine, but slightly warm is better for vata) -Add 5-7 soaked raisins at night, eat in the morning -Take 1 tsp ghee in warm milk at bedtime if tolerated -Gentle abdominal oil massage with warm sesame oil before bath INTERNAL SUPPORT -TRIPHALA CHURNA= 1 tsp at bedtime with warm water regularly for 2-3 months -If severe Avipattikar churna= 1 tsp with warm water at bedtime helps both constipation + acidity MANAGING UPSET STOMACH FROM SPICY FOODS Since symptoms happens after every meal, your stomach lining is sensitive AVOID -red chilli, deep fried foods, excess pickles -sour curd at night -eating when stressed PREFER -Cumin-coriander fennel water boil and sip warm -buttermilk with roasted cumin lunch only -small piece of jaggery + ghee after meals reduces pitta irritation HYDRATION WITHOUT FORCING WATER Not liking cold water is actually good- Ayurveda discourage refrigerated water If you dont feel like drinking much -sip warm herbal water instead of plain water -add a few drops of lemon + honey in warm water morning only -eat water rich foods= lauki, ridge gourd, ash gourd SWEET PREFERANCES Craving sweets often indicates -vata imbalance -emotional comfort eating -weak digestive fire CHOOSE -dates 1-2 -jaggery instead of refined sugar -kheer made with small amount of ghee AVOID -bakery sweets -cold desserts SIMPLE 7 DAY RESET PLAN -MORNING= warm water + soaked raisins -BEFORE LUNCH= Small piece ginger + pinch rock salt -LUNCH= fresh, warm, mildly spiced food -EVENING= fennel tea -NIGHT= early dinner + triphala Because symptoms are chronic (6+ months) and after every meal, rule out -IBS -Gastritis -Thyroid issues If there is -blood in stool -severe abdominal pain -unexplained weight loss DO FOLLOW HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL THANK YOU

Hello Thank you for explaining your symptoms clearly You have mentioned that - you have constipation for more than 6 months -Upset stomach after spicy food -Symptoms persist after almost every meals WHY SPICY FOOD UPSETS YOU(EVEN IN WINTERS) People often think cold weather = more spicy food is allowed But if your internal pitta (heat) is high -Spicy food increases acidity -causes irritation -Disturbs bowel -leads to unsatisfactory bowels ABOUT WATER- IS IT OK TO DRINK LESS Drinking only according to thirst is fine But in chronic constipation Low fluid + vata dryness = harder stools You dont need excessive water -1.5 to 2 litre total fluid per day is enough -Room temperature water is perfect You can also asd -warm water in morning -Thin warm soups -buttermilk after lunch STEP BY STEP CORRECTION PLAN 1.MORNING ROUTINE - 1 glass warm water after waking -1 tsp ghee in warm milk -5-10 minutes gentle walking 2.CONSTIPATION Best simple remedy Triphala powder- 1 tsp with warm water at bed time -1 tsp cow ghee at bed time DIET MODIFICATIONAVOID Very spicy food Red chillies Fried food Excess namkeen food Bakery items Very dry snacks ✅INCLUDE -moong dal -Rice -Bottle gourd -pumpkin -lightly cooked vegetables ARE SOUPS GOOD FOR YOU? Yes very good Best -Moong soup Vegetable soup Light lentil soups YOU LIKE SWEETS AND NAMKEEN This suggest vata pitta craving Natural sweet in moderation is fine -Dates -Jaggery Add this daily - nadi shaodhana -Bhramari Constipation improves when vata calms down Wishing you a good health😊 Warm Regards Dr Snehal Vidhate
