Doctors' responses

HELLO, Cronh’s disease in Ayurveda is usually understood under Grahani roga (disorder of small intestine with impaired digestion) with involvement of vata-pitta dosha, intestinal inflammation, and weakened digestive fire Since you’ve had surgery (colon mass removal in 2022) and are currently tolerating only soft vegetables and rice, your cause suggests -chronic inflammation -intestinal sensitivity -likely vata aggravation bloating -possible malabsorption -delicate post surgical gut tissue Management must be gentle, restorative, and long term- not aggressive detox AYURVEDIC UNDERSTANDING IN YOUR CASE Crohn’s = Mandagni (low digestive strength), Ama formation (toxic undigested residue), Vata aggravation (gas, bloating), intestinal ulceration / inflammation , post surgical tissue weakness GOAL -rekindle digestive fire -reduce inflammation -heal intestinal mucosa -reduce bloating -improve absorption -prevent flare ups AYURVEDIC MANAGEMENT DIET- MOST IMPORTANT You are already eating soft foods- good CONTIUE -soft rice preferably old rice -moong dal -bottle gourd -pumpkin -ridge gourd -carrot well cooked -homemade rice gruel ADD SLOWLYY -pomeranate juice small amount -buttermilk diluted, with roasted cumin + rock salt -small quantity of cow ghee 1 tsp daily for gut healing AVOID -raw vegetables -beans -cauliflower, cabbage -fried food -fermented food -excess spices -gluten -cold foods -refriegerated leftover EAT -small frequent meals -warm food only -fixed timing INTERNAL MEDICATION A) FOR INTESTINAL HEALING 1) YASHTIMADHU CHURNA= 1/2 tsp with warm water twice daily after meals =heals mucosa, reduces inflammation 2) SHATVARI KALPA= 1 tsp with warm milk at bedtime =repairs intestinal lining 3) KUTAJGHAN VATI = 2 tabs twice daily after meals =controls inflammation and diarrhea tendency B) FOR BLOATIN 4) HINGWASTAKA= 1/4 tsp with first bite of food twice daily =reduces gas and improves digestion 5) JEERA + AJWAIN WATER -boil 1/2 tsp each in water, sip warm C) FOR GUT REGENERATION -MAHATIKTA GHRITA= 1 tsp with warm milk at bedtime -plain cow ghee simpler and safer intially Ghee supports intestinal epithelial healing LIFESTYLE -avoid stress very important in cronhns; -sleep before 10:30 pm -gentle walking -avoid excessive exercise -practice pranayam= anulom vilom , deep abdominal breathing HOW LONG IMPROVEMENT -Gas reduction= 2-3 weeks -Bowel stability= 6-8 weeks -Mucosal repair= 3-6 month -Long term remission= 1 + year disciplined care Crohn’s require slow tissue rebuilding, not quick symptoms suppression DO FOLLOW HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL THANK YOU
