Hi! I’m an assistant to the Ask Ayurveda doctors. I’ve carefully reviewed your question.
I will explain your symptoms through the Ayurvedic perspective so you understand what is happening in your body as a whole.
Your difficulty with foreskin movement and the inflammation you are experiencing can be understood through the lens of Ayurveda by examining the doshas and their imbalances.
The redness and inflammation suggest an imbalance in the Pitta dosha, which governs heat and transformation in the body. When Pitta is aggravated, it can lead to inflammation and redness, particularly in sensitive areas like the skin.
The restricted movement of the foreskin may be related to a Vata imbalance, which affects movement and flexibility. Vata governs dryness and rigidity, which could contribute to the difficulty in foreskin retraction.
Your borderline diabetes and heart condition, along with the medications, may also influence these symptoms, as they can impact the body’s overall balance and immune response, making it more susceptible to inflammation.
Ayurveda views these symptoms as interconnected, not isolated issues. The systemic imbalance involving Pitta and Vata, combined with your existing health conditions, creates a pattern that needs holistic attention.
To give doctors a precise and effective treatment plan, your answers to the questions below are essential. Without this information, the recommendations will be more general and less accurate.
Please answer each question as clearly as possible:
