You can slow down kidney damage and prevent kidney failure by making lifestyle and dietary changes. Since your creatinine is 1.08, your kidneys are still functioning well, and this is the right time to take preventive measures. Avoid (Reduce Kidney Stress) High-Sodium Foods – Avoid processed foods, pickles, papad, chips, junk food. Animal Protein (Red Meat, Chicken, Eggs) – Increases kidney load & creatinine. Dairy Products (Milk, Cheese, Paneer, Butter) – Can worsen cyst growth. High-Oxalate Foods – Spinach, tomatoes, beetroots, chocolate, nuts (bad for kidney stones). Refined Sugar & Artificial Sweeteners – Causes inflammation & kidney stress. High-Potassium Foods (if potassium is high in blood test) – Bananas, oranges, include-Vegetables – Cabbage, cauliflower, pumpkin, bottle gourd (lauki), ridge gourd (tori), carrots. Fruits – Apple, pear, guava, papaya, watermelon (in moderation). Grains – Rice, wheat, millets (ragi, jowar, bajra in moderation). Healthy Proteins (in small amounts) – Moong dal, masoor dal (without husk). Fluids – Coconut water (if potassium is normal), plenty of warm water, barley water. If you want ayurvedic support I can help you with that

Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) is a genetic disorder that causes cysts to develop in the kidneys, leading to impaired kidney function over time. Managing PKD involves slowing the progression of the disease, managing symptoms, and reducing complications. You won’t be able to skip medicine completely, but yes ,can lower the medicine dose to minimal. If you can manage it through your diet 1.Reduce sodium intake to help control blood pressure.

2.Eat a kidney-friendly diet with lean proteins, fresh fruits, and vegetables. 3.Limit processed foods and foods high in phosphorus and potassium if kidney function declines. 4.Drink good water if doctor have not restricted for it. Dhanyak hima( soak 1 big spoon of dhaniya seeds in warm water in night and cruch the seed inside water in morning and drink the water.) it shall help you in infection. Else if required you can revert me on same platform. Take care

Addressing polycystic kidney disease without medicine requires a blend of dietary and lifestyle adjustments grounded in Ayurvedic principles. The approach prioritizes balancing Agni (digestive fire) and pacifying any dosha imbalances. Since you’re showing signs indicating potential kapha and vata involvement, it’s helpful to focus on meals that support kapha balance and vata harmony, while boosting digestion.

First, maintain a warm and nourishing diet. Focus on cooked meals that are easy to digest, like soups and stews, which support the kidney’s cleansing function. Avoid processed, heavy, or oily foods as they can burden the kidneys. Emphasize plenty of vegetables like gourds, carrots, and green leafy vegetables, while moderating protein intake from sources like lentils that are easier on the kidneys.

Incorporate herbs such as Punarnava and Gokshura. These are traditionally known for supporting kidney health and can be taken as a tea or decoction — take about 5-10gms of these herbs upon your physician’s advice. They assist in maintaining kidney function and help reduce swelling or fluid retention.

For daily routines, practice Abhyanga (self-massage) with warm sesame oil especially in the morning to enhance circulation and reduce stress. Stress can exacerbate your condition, so consider incorporating pranayama (breathing exercises) and gentle yoga postures like Balasana (child’s pose) that are calming and support the kidneys.

Keep well-hydrated, but not excessively so, as over-intake can stress the kidneys. Room-temperature or warm water is preferred, possibly infused with a slice of lemon or ginger to aid in digestion and detoxification.

Generally, limit the use of salt and avoid habits that stress the kidneys like excessive caffeine or alcohol consumption. It’s best to avoid strenuous physical activity, and instead focus on gentle walks.

Even without pharmaceuticals, it’s crucial to regularly monitor your kidney function with your healthcare provider. Ayurvedic management complements but should not replace, medical advice when dealing with conditions like CKD. Remember, early medical intervention is vital to managing complications, so don’t shy away from reaching out to a professional if those arise.
