I am really feeling at my wits end with my five-year-old son. There are days that feel like a struggle with his non-stop energy. I've been reading up on autism and hyperactivity in child but honestly, the more I read, the messier it gets in my head. Some days I swear he ticks all the boxes of what autism and hyperactivity in child might mean, but then other times it’s like he’s just… a regular active kid, you know? Like yesterday, he spent hours jumping around the living room and couldn't sit for a minute at dinner—it’s like a never-ending circuit with him. But then he hugs tightly and stays attentive during an entire story reading. How do you make sense of autism and hyperactivity in child symptoms when they are so varied? Are there specific things in Ayurveda that could support him better than what we've been doing now? I've heard things like certain foods and routines could help, but where do I even start?!
