When experiencing a combination of symptoms like fever, cough, headache, and chills, these can often be indicative of a viral or bacterial infection. Given her diabetes, it is crucial to monitor these symptoms closely, as infections can complicate glycemic control and lead to other health issues. Let’s approach this from an Ayurvedic perspective keeping her condition in mind.

The presence of a fever, cough, combined with chills often points to an imbalance in the Kapha and Vata doshas. In Ayurveda, it’s important to address these imbalances while also considering any impact on Pitta due to fever. Additionally, the presence of a small liver stone, low BP, and gas issues suggests that her digestive fire, or Agni, may be compromised.

Firstly, maintaining warmth is essential. Keep her well-covered and ensure she’s drinking warm fluids throughout the day. A decoction made from ginger, cinnamon, and tulsi (basil) may help support immunity and provide relief from cough. Boil a half teaspoon each of dried ginger and cinnamon with a few tulsi leaves in a cup of water until reduced by half; strain and drink twice a day.

As for diet, encourage light, easily digestible foods like warm moong dal soup, rice, and cooked vegetables, which can aid digestion and support her Agni. Ensure she is avoiding cold and heavy foods, which can exacerbate Kapha imbalance.

For the headache and body pain, particularly in her arms and legs, a gentle self-massage with warm sesame oil can bring some relief. This supports Vata balance and promotes circulation.

Given her diabetes and periodic low BP, keep her blood sugar levels checked regularly. It’s critical to rule out any diabetic complications that may require immediate medical intervention.

In instances of severe or persisting symptoms, ensure to seek prompt medical attention. Fever and infections, especially in diabetic individuals, should not be left unattended. Ayurveda can complement conventional treatments but should not replace necessary medical care.

The symptoms you’re describing point towards an acute illness where an imbalance, possibly vata-pitta, could be influencing her current state. Fever, cough, headache, and feeling cold may stem from an underlying viral or bacterial infection which can affect her existing conditions like diabetes and digestive issues. Before considering any Ayurvedic approaches, it’s crucial to consult a healthcare professional to rule out serious conditions that might need immediate attention.

From an Ayurvedic perspective, bolster her immunity and reduce discomfort through a few actionable steps. Drinking warm water with ginger slices can help alleviate throat and respiratory discomfort and improve circulation, helping with the cold sensation. Add Tulsi leaves for extra respiratory support, but use them cautiously due to potential interactions with medications.

For managing headaches linked with digestive distress, create a paste with sandalwood and a dash of rose water to apply on the forehead. This can offer relief by cooling Pitta and calming Vata. Discuss fasting or light eating with a doctor, as a full digestive load can increase discomfort and inflammation.

Encourage gentle warming oils such as sesame for local application on painful areas, to soothe muscle aches. Mix with a little turmeric powder to enhance its anti-inflammatory effects. For her, already managing conditions like low BP and diabetes, prioritize consistent blood sugar and hydration levels.

If fever persists beyond a day or escalates, immediate professional healthcare advice is mandatory. Be sure, meanwhile, to maintain a suitable environment for rest and recovery, avoiding stressors that may aggravate Vata or Pitta in her Prakriti. Always adapt advice to her current medical context to prevent unwanted risks.
