For addressing piles, fissure, and fistula through Ayurveda, it’s important to first understand the underlying cause, largely associated with digestive imbalance and aggravated doshas. Here is a structured way to manage your symptoms more effectively:

Begin with dietary modifications. Focus on high-fiber foods like whole grains, fresh vegetables, and fruits to ensure smooth bowel movements. Avoid spicy, fried or too much oily food as it can aggravate your pitta, leading to inflammation.

Hydrate well. Drink 8-10 glasses of water daily to keep stools soft, facilitating easier passage. Kutki powder taken with warm water can help cleanse the liver and intestines, easing digestive load.

Stress on triphala churna. Take a teaspoon at bedtime with warm water. It helps cleanse the colon, promotes digestion, and reduces constipation.

For localized relief, apply coconut oil or ghee gently around the affected area. They have soothing properties that provide some immediate relief. Warm Sitz baths with neem leaves or turmeric can also provide comfort after bowel movements.

It’s essential to strengthen the agni (digestive fire). Ayurvedic herbs like Arogyavardhini Vati, when used under guidance, help improve liver function and digestion. They can assist in reducing toxins that contribute to hemorrhoids and fissures.

Physical activity is crucial, but avoid heavy lifting that might strain. Gentle yoga poses like Vajrasana after meals can stimulate digestion and reduce pressure in the anal region.

In cases where fistula is involved, regular medical check-ups are necessary, as untreated can progress. Keep the area hygienic and avoid self-treatment delaying professional care. If symptoms escalate, please consult an Ayurvedic practitioner for personalized treatment, and don’t ignore signs requiring urgent attention.

For addressing piles, fissures, and fistula using Siddha-Ayurvedic approaches, you’re essentially dealing with imbalances in the doshas — primarily involving vata and pitta. These conditions often arise from aggravated vata causing dryness and constipation, and pitta contributing to inflammation and burning.

First, consider dietary adjustments to pacify these doshas and improve your agni (digestive fire). Increase your intake of fiber-rich foods like fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, which can aid in regular bowel movements. Limit spicy, acidic, and processed foods, as they can create irritation and should be avoided.

Herbal formulations can be beneficial. Triphala is a classic remedy for supporting digestive health and alleviating constipation. Mix half a teaspoon of Triphala powder with warm water and take it before bedtime. Further, take a decoction made from dried ginger, coriander seeds, and Indian gooseberry to help balance pitta and improve digestion.

External applications can provide relief too. Make a paste using turmeric and ghee to apply to the affected area, as these have anti-inflammatory and soothing properties. Ensure you’re maintaining good anal hygiene and sitz baths with warm water and rock salt can help with pain relief.

It’s crucial to address any severe symptoms swiftly; consider consulting a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner who can assess your prakriti and current imbalances for a tailored plan. These treatments should complement medical advice where necessary, especially if symptoms persist or worsen.
