Baked chips made from whole-grain ingredients could be a better option than traditional fried ones, particularly if they have a simple, minimal ingredient list. They’re less likely to overburden your digestive fire, or agni, which is crucial for maintaining energy levels and overall metabolic health.
Nuts like almonds, in small amounts, can be a great snack choice, grounding for vata and pitta. They are rich in healthy fats and protein, supporting your body’s sapta dhatus, or tissue systems.
Still, no matter the type, all processed snacks—whether organic or not—should be consumed in moderation. Focus more on whole foods like fruits, vegetables, and homemade snacks to maintain balanced energy and stable agni.
There’s a chance that your fluctuating energy levels might be rooted in something much more than just diet.
