Okay, looks like you’re dealing with uric acid issues and on treatment for pulmonary TB. Balancing that with gout and a rheumatoid factor… that’s quite a handful, isn’t it?
For folks with gout, the first thing in Ayurveda we’d look at is diet. High uric acid comes from too much pitta aggravated food. So, those oily, heavy things, alcohol - not your friends. Eating a lot of green leafy veggies, cucumber, and pumpkin can help. They’re cooling and help calm that fiery pitta. But with TB treatment too, you’ll need energy. Focus also on mung dal, rice, and vegetables that aren’t too heavy or taxing on digestion.
Add turmeric in your meals, it’s anti-inflammatory and helps detoxify but keep it moderate. And remember, drink water - not cold, but warm, throughout the day. Helps flush out that uric acid.
Activity-wise, keep it balanced. Gentle yoga postures like pawanmuktasana and a bit of pranayama can stabilize your vata and pitta without over-stressing your body. But rest is crucial too, especially with TB. Listen to your body and don’t push too hard.
Consult your doctors before starting anything new! Your meds, they have interactions—don’t want to risk it. But basic things like diet tweaks and gentle exercises should be okay.
Finally, the rheumatoid factor being 14.9 indicates some inflammation. Ashwagandha can be useful here, with caution due to pitta. For pain, castor oil massages can be soothing too, just a light hand.
Your body’s going through a lot right now - give it care and patience. It’s a bit of a journey, but with mindfulness, you’ll get through. Hang in there! 🧘♂️
