What to do for my 10 year old son's red, watery eyes and pain in summer? - #54524

I have a 10 year old son he is having problem with his eyes in summer season.His eyes becomes red and watery in summer season with constant pain due to which his studies is hampered.This thing aggravates in dusty and warm climate.We have been using eye drops recommended by doctor but they give temporary relief.

Your description fits seasonal allergic conjunctival irritation aggravated by heat, dust, and Pitta imbalance. Management should focus on cooling, reducing inflammation, and strengthening eye tissues. Internal medicines Saptamrita Lauha Dose: 1 tablet twice daily after food with honey or ghee Mahatriphala Ghrita Dose: 1/4 teaspoon twice daily with lukewarm milk Praval Pishti Dose: 125 mg twice daily with honey (helps reduce burning and redness) External treatment Triphala eye wash Prepare mild Triphala decoction, filter very well, use to wash eyes once daily Rose water (pure, sterile) 1 to 2 drops in each eye once or twice daily Cold compress Apply clean cloth dipped in cold water over closed eyes for 5 to 10 minutes Diet and lifestyle Avoid spicy, fried, junk foods, excess heat exposure Increase cooling foods like cucumber, coriander water, amla Ensure adequate hydration Avoid rubbing eyes Protect eyes from dust and sunlight
