Stye after applying Triphala ghee indicates Kapha-Pitta aggravation and local blockage of eyelid glands. Ghee is heavy and can clog follicles if digestion (Agni) or local hygiene is not proper, leading to infection (stye). What to do Stop applying ghee on eyelids Use sterile Triphala eye wash instead Treatment (dose): Triphala Kwatha (filtered very well): use as eye wash once daily Saptamrita Lauha – 1 tablet twice daily with honey + ghee Mahatriphala Ghrita – 1/2 tsp at bedtime with warm milk (internal use only) Gandhaka Rasayana – 250 mg twice daily after food Local care for stye: Warm compress 2–3 times daily Apply a small amount of sterile cow ghee around eyelid margin (not inside) Avoid direct application of ghee into eyes or on eyelids.
