Dear Sir, I am 75 years old and since a year suffering from GLUCOMA, due which I headache, walk problem. Here in Jamnagar Optician after thorough check have prescribed me GLUCOTIM LA eyedrops to be administered one time before sleeping time. Is there anyAyurved solution. Please suggest.

●Ayurvedic Herbal Decoction Reduce Eye Strain with Herbal Tea Mixture: Punarnava - 5 parts Jatamansi - 3 parts Shankhapushpi - 3 parts Method: Boil 1 teaspoon of the mixture in 1 cup of water. Consumption: 2 times a day. This helps reduce eye pressure.
●Triphala eyewash triphala - Natural Protector of Eyes" 1/2 teaspoon Triphala Boil 1 cup of water for 2 minutes. Strain well and cool. Rinse eyes with this. It reduces eye strain and protects vision.
●Lifestyle Considerations Reduce Kapha - Avoid foods that increase Kapha. • Avoid coffee, white sugar, and dairy products (milk, cheese, etc.). Eat light and digestible foods. Exercise Caution Avoid heavy lifting or strenuous exercise. Avoid inverted yoga postures like Shirshasana and Sarvangasana. Perform light pranayama and eye yoga. Only practice light breathing exercises.

Glaucoma is due to increased pressure in the eye. It needs regular treatment to protect vision. Ayurveda can support, but cannot replace your eye drops.
Do this:
Continue Glucotim LA eye drops regularly at night
Do not stop or skip it
Reduce screen time and avoid bright light
Follow 20-20-20 rule
Take proper sleep
Do not apply any herbal juice or oil directly into eyes
Diet:
Include 1 tsp ghee daily
Eat green vegetables, carrot, beetroot
Take amla regularly
Drink enough water
Lifestyle:
Daily walking is good, continue
Avoid stress and straining
Medicines:
Saptamrit loha 1 tablet twice daily after food
Triphala churna 3 grams at night with warm water
Brahmi vati 1 tablet at night
For headache:
Apply little cow ghee on soles of feet at night
Light head massage with coconut oil
Regular eye check-up every 3–6 months is important to monitor eye pressure.
