Yes, Ashwagandha Ghritam can be used for Snehana when there is Vata aggravation, dryness, weakness, stress, poor sleep or dhātu-kshaya. —For Rasāyana, it is Balya, Brimhana and Dhātu-poshak, so it may cause healthy weight gain mainly in underweight or weak patients. In a normal-weight person, if taken in proper dose with good digestion, it usually improves strength, stamina and sleep rather than causing excessive weight gain. —Avoid or use carefully in Kapha prakriti, obesity, mandāgni, heaviness, high cholesterol tendency, loose motions or ama symptoms.
