Seedha jawaab hai: Nahi, Mulethi Churna ko daily aur lifelong (zindagi bhar) lena bilkul sahi nahi hai. ​Mulethi (Licorice) ek bohot hi behtareen rasayan aur bheshaja (dawa) hai, lekin Ayurveda mein kisi bhi cheez ko bina zaroorat lambe samay tak lene ki salaah nahi di jaati. Iske peeche ke thos kaaran aur isko sahi tarike se lene ka niyam niche diye gaye hain: ​1. Lifelong Kyun Nahi Lena Chahiye? (Side Effects) ​Mulethi mein ek active component hota hai jise Glycyrrhizin kehte hain. Jab aap iska lagatar mahino ya saalo tak sevan karte hain, to shareer mein niche likhi samasyaayein (side effects) ho sakti hain: ​Hypokalemia (Potassium ki kami): Lambe samay tak Mulethi lene se shareer se potassium urine ke raste zyada bahar nikalne lagta hai. Potassium kam hone se manspeshiyon mein kamzori aur thakan aane lagti hai. ​High Blood Pressure (Uchha Raktachapa): Glycyrrhizin shareer mein cortisol hormone ke metabolism ko badal deta hai, jisse shareer mein paani aur sodium rukne (fluid retention) lagta hai. Is wajah se blood pressure badh sakta hai aur shareer par (khaaskar chehre ya pairon par) sujan aa sakti hai. ​Heart and Kidney par asar: Potassium kam hone aur BP badhne se lambe samay mein dil aur gurdo (kidneys) par galat asar padta hai. ​2. Viral Load Kam Karne Ke Liye Sahi Tarika ​Aapne bataya ki aap ise viral load kam karne ke liye le rahe hain. Mulethi mein anti-viral aur immunomodulatory gun hote hain, isme koi shaq nahi hai. Lekin iska asar paane ke liye isko cycles (gaps) mein lena chahiye: ​Sahi Avadhi (Duration): Aap isko lagatar 4 se 6 hafte (1 se 1.5 mahina) tak le sakte hain. Iske baad kam se kam 2 se 3 hafte ka gap (break) dena zaroori hai. Is gap ke baad aap ise phir se shuru kar sakte hain. Aisa karne se shareer par koi side effect nahi hota. ​3. Sahi Matra (Dosage) Aur Sevan Vidhi ​Patanjali Mulethi Churna ko subah-shaam lena theek hai, lekin matra (quantity) par dhyan dena zaroori hai: ​Matra: Ek baar mein 1 से 2 gram (lagbhag aadha chota chammach ya usse thoda kam). Dinbhar mein kul milakar 3-4 gram se zyada churna nahi lena chahiye. ​Anupana (Kiske sath lein): Chunki aap ise immunity aur anti-viral purpose ke liye le rahe hain, isko Gungune Paani (Warm water) ya Shahad (Honey) ke sath subah aur shaam ko khana khane ke lagbhag aadhe ghante baad lein.

Ayurveda अनुसार मुलेठी (यष्टिमधु) रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता व कंठ के लिए उपयोगी है, लेकिन इसे रोज़ाना जीवनभर लगातार लेना उचित नहीं माना जाता। कम मात्रा (¼–½ चम्मच) में सीमित अवधि तक लेना बेहतर रहता है। लंबे समय तक अधिक सेवन से BP बढ़ना, सूजन व कमजोरी जैसी समस्याएँ हो सकती हैं, इसलिए बीच-बीच में विराम लेकर ही सेवन करें।
