मुख्य औषधियाँ (लिवर और किडनी सुरक्षा) ​लिवर और किडनी दोनों को एक साथ पुनर्जीवित करने के लिए निम्नलिखित शास्त्रीय (Classical) औषधियाँ सबसे सर्वोत्तम हैं: •​पुनर्नवादि मंडूर (Punarnavadi Mandoor): ​कार्य: यह आयुर्वेद की सर्वश्रेष्ठ औषधि है जो लिवर और किडनी दोनों पर एक साथ काम करती है। ‘पुनर्नवा’ का अर्थ ही है जो अंगों को ‘फिर से नया’ कर दे। यह शरीर की सूजन (Edema) को कम करती है, खून बढ़ाती है और किडनी के फंक्शन को सुधारती है। ​सेवन विधि: 1-1 गोली सुबह और शाम भोजन के बाद हल्के गुनगुने पानी से लें। •​आरोग्यवर्धिनी वटी (Arogyavardhini Vati): ​कार्य: यह यकृत (Liver) के विकारों के लिए रामबाण है। यह संचित मल और टॉक्सिन्स को बाहर निकालती है, लिवर की कार्यप्रणाली को सुचारू करती है और पाचन अग्नि (Appetite) को प्रदीप्त करती है। ​सेवन विधि: 1-1 गोली सुबह और शाम भोजन के बाद (पुनर्नवादि मंडूर के साथ ले सकते हैं)। ​2. सिरप / आसव (भूख और तंदुरुस्ती के लिए) ​भूख बढ़ाने, पाचन दुरुस्त करने और शरीर को ऊर्जा देने के लिए लिक्विड फॉर्मूलेशन बहुत प्रभावी होते हैं: •​कुमारीआसव (Kumariasava) + पुनर्नवाद्यरिष्ट (Punarnavadyarishta): ​कुमारीआसव: यह लिवर और तिल्ली (Spleen) को मजबूत करता है, भूख खुलकर लगाता है और कब्ज को दूर करता है। •​पुनर्नवाद्यरिष्ट: यह किडनी को डिटॉक्सिफाई करता है और यूरिनरी सिस्टम को साफ रखता है। ​सेवन विधि: 2 चम्मच कुमारीआसव और 2 चम्मच पुनर्नवाद्यरिष्ट (कुल 4 चम्मच दवा) को 4 चम्मच गुनगुने पानी में मिलाकर दोपहर और रात के भोजन के तुरंत बाद लें। ​3. टॉनिक और बल्य औषधियाँ (कमजोरी दूर करने के लिए) ​लंबे समय तक शराब के सेवन से शरीर में पोषण की कमी हो जाती है। शरीर को वापस तंदुरुस्त और बलवान बनाने के लिए: •​अश्वगंधा चूर्ण या अवलेह: यह शारीरिक कमजोरी, मानसिक तनाव और नसों की शिथिलता को दूर करता है। ​सेवन विधि: आधा चम्मच अश्वगंधा चूर्ण रात को सोते समय एक गिलास गुनगुने दूध के साथ लें। ​4. आहार और जीवनशैली (Pathya-Apathya) ​दवाइयों के साथ-साथ सही खान-पान अंगों को तेजी से रिकवर करने में मदद करेगा: ​क्या खाएं (Pathya): ​आहार में मूंग की दाल, पुराने चावल, लौकी, तोरई, परवल, और कद्दू जैसी सुपाच्य सब्जियां शामिल करें। ​लिवर और किडनी के लिए गन्ने का रस, मट्ठा (छाछ) में भुना जीरा डालकर पीना, और नारियल पानी अमृत समान हैं। ​भूख बढ़ाने के लिए भोजन से आधा घंटा पहले अदरक के एक छोटे टुकड़े पर सेंधा नमक लगाकर चबाएं। ​क्या न खाएं (Apathya): ​ज्यादा तेल-मसालेदार, तीखा, मैदा, जंक फूड और भारी भोजन (जैसे उड़द की दाल, छोले, राजमा) से पूरी तरह परहेज करें, क्योंकि इन्हें पचाने में लिवर पर अतिरिक्त दबाव पड़ता है। ​नमक और चाय/कॉफी का सेवन सीमित करें।
