Gandham Tailam मुख्यतः शरीर को बल, पोषण और वात शमन देने के लिए उपयोग किया जाता है। इससे सीधे “मोटापा” नहीं बढ़ता, लेकिन यदि शरीर में कमजोरी, दुबलापन या वात अधिक हो तो नियमित और उचित मात्रा में उपयोग से शरीर पुष्ट हो सकता है। सामान्यतः बाहरी मालिश में इसका उपयोग सुरक्षित माना जाता है। अधिक मात्रा में या बिना सलाह लंबे समय तक सेवन करने से कुछ लोगों में पाचन भारी लगना या वजन बढ़ने जैसा अनुभव हो सकता है
