शारीरिक दर्द और भारीपन को कम करने के लिए शरीर से वात को शांत करना और जकड़न को दूर करना सबसे पहला कदम है: ••​स्थानीय अभ्यंग (Massage): प्रभावित हिस्सों (गर्दन, पीठ और पैरों) पर हल्के हाथ से महाविषगर्भ तेल (Mahavishgarbha Taila) या प्रसारिणी तेल (Prasarini Taila) की मालिश करें। यह नसों की कमजोरी और दर्द को दूर करता है। ••​नाड़ी स्वेद (Steam): मालिश के बाद दशमूल क्वाथ के पानी की भाप (स्वेदन) लेने से शरीर का भारीपन और जकड़न (Stiffness) तुरंत कम होती है। ••सिंहनाद गुग्गुल या त्रयोदशांग गुग्गुल 2-2 गोली सुबह और शाम, गुनगुने पानी के साथ। ••दशमूलारिष्ट 20 ml (बराबर पानी मिलाकर) दोपहर और रात के भोजन के बाद। ••महारास्नादि काढ़ा 20 ml (बराबर गुनगुने पानी के साथ) सुबह खाली पेट और शाम को भोजन से पहले। ••अश्वगंधा चूर्ण (थकावट और कमजोरी के लिए) 3 ग्राम (आधा चम्मच) रात को सोते समय गुनगुने दूध या पानी के साथ। •जब तक पेट साफ नहीं होगा और अग्नि (Digestion) ठीक नहीं होगी, तब तक दर्द में पूरी तरह आराम नहीं मिलेगा। ••​क्या खाएं (पथ्य): हमेशा गुनगुना पानी पिएं। भोजन में लहसुन, अदरक, हींग, और मेथी का उपयोग बढ़ाएं। सुपाच्य, ताजा और गर्म भोजन ही लें। ••​किन चीजों से परहेज करें (अपथ्य): ठंडी चीजें (आइसक्रीम, फ्रिज का पानी), बासी भोजन, उड़द की दाल, राजमा, छोले, गोभी और अत्यधिक तीखा-मसालेदार खाना बंद कर दें, क्योंकि ये शरीर में वात और गैस को बढ़ाते हैं। ••​विश्राम: रीढ़ की हड्डी (Spine) को सीधा रखें, झुककर बैठने या भारी वजन उठाने से बचें। सोते समय बहुत मोटे तकिए का इस्तेमाल न करे
