When dealing with itching and red spots accompanied by high CRP and hsCRP levels, it’s important to understand that these markers often indicate inflammation in the body. From an Ayurvedic perspective, this could be associated with an imbalance in the Pitta and Vata doshas. It is crucial to take steps to balance these doshas whilst addressing your symptoms.

Begin by focusing on your diet. Incorporate foods that are naturally cooling and soothing to balance Pitta. Favor fresh, seasonal fruits like pears, melons, and avocados, as they have a pacifying effect. Also, include vegetables such as cucumbers, squash, and leafy greens. Limit intake of spicy, oily, and fried foods as well as caffeinated beverages and alcohol, which can aggravate Pitta.

Herbal remedies can be very helpful. Neem and Manjistha are excellent for reducing inflammation and purifying the blood–they help in tackling skin issues. Take one teaspoon of Neem powder with warm water once daily, and consider Manjistha capsules, following the dosage indicated on the package. If consumed consistently, over a few weeks, they may provide relief.

Try adding external applications to your routine, such as a paste made from sandalwood powder and rose water. It can cool down the skin and reduce itching. Apply this paste gently to the affected areas and leave it on for about 20 minutes before washing it off with luke warm water.

Ensure you are bathing regularly as this helps keep the skin clean of irritants and sweat that can exacerbate itching. Use mild, natural soaps, avoiding anything with harsh chemicals or fragrances.

It could also be beneficial to practice Abhyanga (self-oil massage) with cooling oils like coconut or sunflower oil, 2-3 times a week. Massage the oil gently onto your skin, then follow with a warm shower after letting it sit for 15-20 minutes.

Additionally, prioritize stress reduction techniques, as stress can worsen Pitta imbalances. Implement practices like yoga, meditation, or deep breathing exercises to bring about calmness. Sleep is also critical, ensure you maintain regular sleep patterns to support your body’s healing process.

Given the high CRP levels, it’s advisable to remain in touch with your healthcare provider to monitor the condition and ensure there is no underlying issue that requires medical attention. If symptoms persist or worsen, seek medical advice promptly.

In the context of Siddha-Ayurveda, your symptoms of itching and red spots likely involve an imbalance in the Pitta dosha, which is associated with heat and inflammation in the body. The elevated CRP and hsCRP indicate systemic inflammation, possibly related to this Pitta imbalance. Hives, or urticaria, are often the result of this excess heat affecting the blood and tissues.

First, focus on calming and cooling the Pitta dosha. Begin by incorporating cooling foods into your diet, such as cucumber, aloe vera juice, and green leafy vegetables. Try to avoid spicy, sour, and oily foods which can aggravate Pitta further. Hydration with cool water is important, so drink plenty throughout the day.

A simple home remedy you may find beneficial is applying a paste of sandalwood and rose water to the affected areas, which can help soothe the skin and decrease itchiness. Use a gentle mixture with equal parts, and apply it twice daily to reduce red spots.

Internally, consuming herbs like neem and turmeric can help to detoxify the blood and reduce inflammation. Neem powder in water, or a turmeric-based warm milk at night, can be useful. These herbs have cooling properties that will assist in tackling the root causes of your symptoms.

Daily practices like yoga or meditation can help manage stress which further disturbs Pitta. Restoring a regular bathing routine is also beneficial, using mild, natural soaps and lukewarm water to reduce irritation.

It’s essential to monitor any changes and consult with a healthcare professional, especially if symptoms worsen. Quick medical evaluation is important if your condition includes difficulty breathing or rapid swelling, as these are signs that require immediate attention.
