I am 52, post menopausal dealing with hot flashes, sleep difficulties, Easy weight gain, hair loss, jjoint pains, fatigue

Make a simple infusion: steep a teaspoon of coriander seeds in hot water for 10 minutes, strain, and drink thrice a day. Daily, apply a mixture of sandalwood paste with rose water on your forehead to aid in calming excess Pitta.

Sleep disturbances may be relieved by stabalizing Vata. Try consuming a cup of warm milk with a pinch of nutmeg or ashwagandha an hour before bed. Massaging your feet with warm sesame oil can also help ground Vata and prepare your body for restful sleep.

For weight management, focus on a Kapha-pacifying diet. Opt for lighter meals; lots of vegetables and whole grains. Consider adding more legumes and cutting down on red meats and fried foods. Staying physically active is essential — walking for half an hour daily could significantly contribute to maintaining your weight and energy levels.

Hair loss might relate to Dhatu nourishment. Increase your intake of sesame seeds, amla (Indian gooseberry), and almonds. A scalp massage with bhringraj oil two to three times a week can fortify hair roots. Joint pains & fatigue may also benefit from this approach. Turmeric and ginger tea can be helpful; consume once or twice daily for their anti-inflammatory properties.

Always maintain a regular routine; the body thrives on a predictable schedule. Consider practicing yoga or meditation to keep your mind centred, which in turn, supports your overall dosha balance. If symptoms worsen or impact daily life greatly, consider seeking personalized advice from a local Ayurvedic practitioner, to tailor remedies more closely to your needs.
