Your symptoms suggest an immediate allergic reaction triggered by Viruddha Ahara (incompatible food combinations) or a hypersensitive immune response due to an imbalance of Vata and Kapha doshas. The cold, sneezing, and nasal blockage indicate Kapha aggravation, while Vata contributes to hypersensitivity.

Here is an Ayurvedic plan to address the acute allergy and prevent recurrence:

1. Immediate Relief (Shamana Chikitsa): Herbal Decoction: Boil Tulsi (Holy Basil) leaves, ginger, and black pepper in water. Add a pinch of turmeric and sip warm. This helps pacify Kapha and clear nasal congestion. Nasal Steam: Add a few drops of Eucalyptus oil or Ajwain seeds to hot water and inhale the steam to relieve nasal blockage. Pratimarsha Nasya: Apply 2 drops of Anu Tailam or Shadbindu Tailam in each nostril to clear congestion and reduce Kapha. 2. Diet (Ahara): Avoid cold, raw, or heavy-to-digest foods like salads, yogurt, or refrigerated items during this period. Consume warm, cooked, and mildly spiced meals to balance Vata and Kapha. Drink warm water infused with jeera (cumin) or ajwain throughout the day to improve digestion and reduce Kapha buildup. 3. Preventive Measures: Strengthen Digestion (Agni): Take Trikatu churna (a blend of ginger, black pepper, and long pepper) with honey before meals to improve digestive strength and reduce hypersensitivity. Consume Amla juice (20 ml daily) to build immunity and reduce allergic tendencies. Rasayana Therapy: Use Chyawanprash (1 tsp daily) to enhance immunity and prevent future allergies. Haridra Khand (1 tsp twice daily with warm milk) to reduce allergic reactions and inflammation. 4. Lifestyle (Vihara): Avoid exposure to cold air, dust, or allergens immediately after consuming meals. Practice gentle breathing exercises like Anulom Vilom and Bhastrika Pranayama to strengthen respiratory health. 5. External Application: Apply warm mustard oil on the chest and neck to reduce congestion and balance Kapha. By strengthening digestion (Agni), calming doshas, and building immunity, this regimen can prevent such allergic reactions in the future. Regular follow-ups are advised. May you recover quickly and stay healthy.

Ah, it sounds like you’re dealing with a pretty uncomfortable reaction. Your body’s response to these foods might be indicating an underlying dosha imbalance. In Ayurveda, such sudden reactions with symptoms like sneezing, cold, and nasal congestion often correlate with an aggravation of the kapha dosha, but it could also link to Vata due to the suddenness and rapidity of the symptoms.

First off, when it comes to handling allergies, it’s important to avoid the triggers — clearly, the green mirch, cucumber, and bottle gourd. These foods are probably increasing your body’s sensitive response. Ensure you take a break from these items and slowly re-introduce them if you wanna see how your body really keeps reacting.

Consider incorporating anti-kapha, warming spices like ginger and black pepper in your diet. Make a simple ginger tea, just chop up some fresh ginger, boil it in water for 5–10 minutes, and sip on it. It’s quite soothing and can help counteract the cold and sneezes.

Nasal congestion and sneezing could be alleviated with a neti pot. Fill it with lukewarm saline water (a pinch of salt in warm water), tilt your head to the side, and let the water cleanse your nasal passages gently. But! Be careful if you’ve never done it before, and always use clean, distilled or boiled water, not straight from the tap.

Stay warm too. Sometimes, just keeping your head and neck covered can reduce the symptoms (especially if u live in a cooler place). Wear a scarf.

And pay attention to your agni, or digestive fire. When agni is strong, it’s better at processing foods that might cause reactions. To support it, include foods that are easy on the stomach - things like kichadi, with mung dal and rice mix, can be soothing and balancing.

But hey, considering it’s an immediate reaction, if these remedies don’t settle things or they get worse, don’t hesitate to see a doc. Like, a quick check-up to be on the safe side!
