At 16, your daughter still has some growth potential left, but it depends on her bone growth plates (epiphyseal plates). In most girls, height growth continues till around 17–18 years, after which it slows down or stops. Ayurveda does not have any medicine that can forcefully increase height beyond genetic limits, but it can support natural growth, bone strength, and posture, which can help her reach her maximum possible height. For support, she can take Ashwagandha ½ tsp with milk at night and Shatavari ½ tsp once daily, which help in overall growth and nourishment. Ensure her diet includes milk, ghee, soaked almonds, sesame seeds, green vegetables, and adequate protein, as nutrition plays a key role at this stage. Daily routine is very important. Encourage stretching exercises, yoga like Tadasana and Surya Namaskar, skipping, and outdoor activity. Proper sleep (7–8 hours) is essential because growth hormone is active during deep sleep. Avoid giving strong or unknown “height-increasing” medicines, as they do not work and can harm health. With proper nutrition, exercise, and routine, she can still gain some height naturally over the next 1–2 years.
