Namaste, Your case suggests a single large intramural fibroid in the posterior fundal wall, which has led to an enlarged uterus and infertility. Since you have regular but scanty menses, no pain, and no other symptoms, we can focus on Ayurvedic management to balance hormones, reduce fibroid size, and improve fertility. 1. Tab.Kanchnar Guggulu – 1 tab twice daily after food 2. Ashoka aristh- 10 mL twice daily with equal quantity of warm water after food 3. Triphala Churna -1/2 tsp with warm water at bed time 4. Shatavari churna 1 tsp once daily with warm milk Avoid heavy, cold, and dairy-based foods that increase Kapha. Reduce processed foods, excess sugar, and fried items. Increase warm, easily digestible foods like moong dal, vegetables, and whole grains. Drink lukewarm water infused with ginger or cinnamon to aid digestion and metabolism. Practice yoga & pranayama (Baddha Konasana, Supta Baddha Konasana, Ustrasana)

Hi Javeria,

Can you tell me if you have any digestive issues like bloating, constipation, or changes in appetite? Also, how is your energy level, and have you noticed any changes in your overall health, such as fatigue or hormonal imbalances? Lastly, do you follow a particular diet, and have you tried any treatments or lifestyle changes so far to address the fibroid?

Hey there! So, you’re dealing with a single, large intramural fibroid and it’s been hanging around for a few years now. Non-surgical options are what you’re after, I get that. Let’s dive into some ideas from the ayurvedic perspective.

First things first, talking dosha imbalances, fibroids are often seen as a kapha condition. Kapha tends to lead to growths and stagnation. We can also consider the fibroid as a manifestation of “rakta dhatu vitiation” (meaning blood issues), causing blood stasis.

So, what to do? Diet’s always a good start. Aim to warm things up – ginger, black pepper, and turmeric are your friends. Start your day with a cup of warm water and a slice or two of ginger. Tumeric milk before bed can also help, just a pinch in warm milk. Limit kapha-aggravating foods like dairy, red meat, processed sugars, too many starchy stuff.

Herbs can play a role too - Ashoka (Saraca indica) has been traditionally used to support uterine health. Maybe try some Ashoka decoction or capsules as directed, like twice daily after meals. Manjistha could also help improve blood flow and reduce any stagnation. As always, get proper guidance from an Ayurvedic practitioner before starting on herbs though.

And lifestyle? Staying active helps. Walking, practicing some Surya Namaskar (sun salutations), those kinds of gentle exercises. It might help with the blood circulation and keeping things less stagnant.

Reduce stress - easier said than done, right? Try incorporating some meditation or yoga nidra. Deep breathing isn’t just for relaxation; it can improve flow and energy through your body.

Now, if you’ve been facing fertility issues, it’s crucial to collaborate with a healthcare provider. Ayurveda offers many supportive methods, but in complex conditions like fibroids and fertility, combining wisdom from all fronts is often the most effective strategy.

But remember, it’s always crucial to discuss decisions and approaches with your healthcare provider to align with your specific situation. Healing is holistic, but safety first, okay?
