Certainly, navigating PCOD (Polycystic Ovarian Disease) can be a bit tricky, but its great that your periods have become somewhat regular lately. Facial hair growth, bloating, constant tiredness, and nausea are still pointing towards a potential hormonal imbalance which we often see in PCOD.

In Ayurveda, PCOD is often linked to an imbalance of the Kapha dosha and impaired Agni (digestive fire), which impacts the dhatus (tissues). This can lead to Ama (toxins) accumulation, causing hormonal fluctuations.

1. Dietary Recommendations: Focus on light and easily digestible foods to keep your Agni strong. Avoid heavy, oily, or overly processed foods, as they could increase Kapha and contribute to ama. Favor freshly cooked meals with spices like turmeric, cumin, coriander, and ginger, which can help improve digestion and hormone regulation.

2. Herbal Support: Consider the herb Shatavari, which is known for its benefits to female reproductive health. Triphala can also be beneficial as it helps in detoxification and maintaining regular bowel movements. Each morning, take a glass of warm water with a teaspoon of Triphala powder before bed. Begin with hundred mg of Shatavari daily, but be sure to consult with an Ayurvedic practitioner for personalized dosing.

3. Daily Routine: Balance your routine. Try to wake up by sunrise, aiming for 6-8 hours of sleep. Prioritize movement, a 30-minute daily walk or light yoga can be very beneficial. Create a calming morning routine to help with the nausea—consider sipping ginger tea first thing after you wake up.

4. Mind-Body Practices: Incorporate relaxation techniques like meditation or pranayama (breathing exercises) daily. Stress has a profound effect on hormonal balance, and these practices can contribute to emotional stability.

Monitoring the variation in your menstrual cycle is also important, but some fluctuation is natural. If symptoms persist, seeking a professional evaluation can provide more insights or adjustments specific to your health needs. Remember, transitioning to an Ayurvedic lifestyle takes time, so be patient and consistent with these practices.
