Your irregular and short menstrual flow, along with headaches, may be due to multiple factors:

- Hormonal Imbalance – Low estrogen levels can cause short and irregular periods.
- Nutritional Deficiencies – Lack of iron, vitamin B12, or calcium may contribute to weak menstrual flow.
- Stress & Anxiety – Excessive stress can disrupt the hormonal cycle.
- Poor Digestive Health (Agni Mandya) – Leads to toxin accumulation (Ama) affecting menstrual health.
- Pitta Aggravation – Can cause headaches and worsen symptoms.

RX.- 1. Chandraprabha Vati – 1 tablet once daily.
2. Rajpravartini Vati – 1 tablet once daily to regulate periods.
3. Shatavari Powder – ½ teaspoon with warm milk daily.
4. Ashokarishta – 15 ml with an equal amount of water after meals.
5. Avipattikar Churna – ½ teaspoon twice daily before food to improve digestion.

### Lifestyle & Dietary Recommendations:
Daily Abhyanga (Oil Massage) – Apply warm sesame oil on the lower abdomen and back.
Avoid spicy, sour, and packaged foods.
Stay Hydrated – Drink plenty of warm water and herbal teas.
Follow a Proper Sleep Routine – Sleeping on time helps balance the biological clock.

### Yoga & Pranayama for Hormonal Balance:
Yoga Asanas:
- Baddha Konasana (Butterfly Pose)
- Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose)
- Malasana (Squat Pose)

Pranayama Techniques:
- Anulom Vilom – Helps balance Vata and Pitta.

Dealing with irregular periods can be frustrating, especially when they’re short and accompanied by headaches. From an Ayurvedic perspective, this might point towards an imbalance in the Vata dosha. Vata governs movement and change in the body, and when it’s imbalanced, it can affect menstrual cycles. Stress, irregular eating habits, and excessive physical activity can aggravate Vata.

For your specific situation, it’s essential to stabilize Vata and nurture your reproductive system. Try to incorporate a Vata-pacifying diet which is warm, moist, and oily. Favor foods like cooked grains, sweet fruits, and dairy products like milk and ghee. Spices such as cumin, coriander, and fennel can aid in balancing Vata and supporting digestion. Stay away from raw, cold, and dry foods which can worsen the condition.

Besides dietary approach, regular routine with enough relaxation is crucial. Yoga and pranayama can help restore balance and calm the nervous system; practices like Supta Baddha Konasana and Janu Sirsasana are specifically beneficial for menstrual concerns. Practicing deep belly breathing could be helpful for reducing anxiety and stabilizing Vata.

Make sure you maintain a consistent sleep schedule, 7-8 hours of restful sleep at night can significantly alleviate headaches. Massaging the abdomen with warm sesame oil in a circular motion a few days before your period may help ease menstrual discomforts.

Always seek professional medical advice to rule out any underlying conditions if symptoms persist or worsen. If headaches and irregularities don’t improve, consulting with an Ayurvedic practitioner for personalized guidance or a gynecologist might be the best next step, as they can offer insights specific to your constitution and lifestyle.
