Endometriosis at your age can be quite challenging, especially with symptoms like painful periods, heavy bleeding, and hot flashes you’re experiencing. In Ayurveda, endometriosis may be linked to an imbalance in Vata and Pitta doshas, which can disrupt the healthy function of reproductive tissues.

First thing, managing pain and heavy bleeding should be a priority. Ayurvedic herbs can offer some support. Ashoka (Saraca indica) is traditionally known for its menstruation-regulating properties. You could try Ashoka churna, taking about 1 to 2 grams mixed with warm water, twice a day after meals. It is advisable to consult with an ayurvedic practitioner before starting any new remedies, especially considering your ongoing treatment.

To ease pain, consider applying warm castor oil packs to the lower abdomen for about 30 minutes, 4-5 days a week. It helps reduce inflammation and can calm Vata dosha. Drinking ginger tea (freshly grated ginger boiled in water)—a cup twice a day—might also help in reducing pain and inflammation.

For dietary considerations, incorporating foods like cooked carrots, pumpkin and sesame seeds, which are grounding and nourishing, might be of benefit. However, it’s best to avoid spicy, oily, and overly processed foods that can aggravate Pitta.

Since you’re experiencing hot flashes, cooling practices can be beneficial. Drinking fennel seed water should help; simply soak 1-2 teaspoons of fennel seeds in a glass of water overnight and drink it the next morning. Practice Pranayama techniques like Sheetali breath (a cooling breath exercise) too.

However, with persistent bleeding, it is essential to meet with a healthcare professional to rule out any potential complications. While Ayurveda can support, it’s best used alongside conventional treatments in such complex conditions. Ensure to maintain regular medical check-ups.
