Given your situation with anovulation and consistently low body temperature, understanding the underlying doshic imbalances and your unique constitution is essential. In Ayurveda, factors like digestion (Agni), Vata imbalances, and lifestyle routines play core roles in hormonal health and can impact ovulation.

Improving overall Agni is crucial. Begin with dietary adjustments; incorporate warm, cooked foods and avoid raw or cold items which can dampen digestive fire. Include spices such as ginger, cinnamon, and fennel, which are known to stimulate Agni. Simple herbal teas made with dried ginger can help stabilize and elevate your body temperature, supporting overall hormones balance.

Consistent daily routine is fundamental. Establish regular waking, sleeping, and eating times to balance Vata dosha, which governs movement and circulation. Consider adding Abhyanga (self massage) with warm sesame oil before bath. It nourishes tissues, supports circulation and can calm Vata. Limit exposure to wind, cold, and drastic weather shifts that may aggravate Vata.

Since ovulation is influenced by hormonal rhythm, herbs like Shatavari can be beneficial. This rejuvenative herb supports reproductive health and helps to regulate cycles. Take it with warm milk for enhanced assimilation. Also, consider Dashamoola which can correct irregular hormonal cycles and fortify the uterus. Always procure these from reputable sources to ensure their quality and efficacy.

For abdominal comfort and to encourage warmth, place a hot water bottle on your lower abdomen. Consider practicing gentle yoga poses like Baddha Konasana (Bound Angle Pose) or Supta Baddha Konasana (Reclining Bound Angle Pose) to improve pelvic circulation. However, if symptoms persist or worsen, consult a healthcare provider or an experienced Ayurvedic practitioner to tailor the most appropriate treatment plan to your needs.

To address anovulation while maintaining a view rooted in Siddha-Ayurvedic principles, it’s crucial to examine the underlying factors contributing to this condition. Anovulation often relates to imbalances in the vata and pitta doshas, affecting the reproductive tissues and cycle regularity.

Firstly, observation of your basal body temperature suggests low agni, which can impact ovulation. Improving agni is an essential step. Begin with warm, nourishing foods like kichari—cooked with ginger, turmeric, and cumin to promote healthy digestion. Drink warm water throughout the day to keep agni balanced and support proper elimination of toxins.

Additionally, include regular practice of pranayama, specifically Nadi Shodhana (Alternate Nostril Breathing) to harmonize hormonal functions and improve circulation through the nadis. Perform for 10-15 mins daily, preferably in the morning on an empty stomach.

Herbal support can also be beneficial. Ashwagandha and Shatavari are renowned for strengthening the reproductive system, promoting balance, and enhancing fertility. Take ashwagandha churna (powder) with warm milk before bed, but start with small amounts to ensure it’s suitable for your constitution. Shatavari, on the other hand, can be consumed with a spoon of ghee in the morning.

Ensure your routines align with your natural body rhythm and get adequate restful sleep each night to support reproductive health. Guidance from a practitioner who can observe changes in your prakriti is advised, particularly if symptoms persist or new ones appear. Should there be significant concern about anovulation’s impact on health or fertility, a consultation with a healthcare provider for conventional evaluation may be warranted to complement Ayurvedic interventions.
