Period issue - #2672

I am 37yr old.My period is always on time but from last 3 to 4 months it's just having for 2 to 3 days with less flow of blood. I'm tensed can u help me

Sesame Seeds and Jaggery: Eat 1 tsp of roasted sesame seeds mixed with jaggery daily. Lifestyle Tips Relaxation: Manage stress with pranayama (Anulom Vilom, Bhramari) and meditation. Warm Compress: Apply a warm compress to the lower abdomen to improve blood circulation. Yoga: Practice poses like Baddha Konasana (Butterfly Pose) and Supta Baddha Konasana. From an ayurvedic view, your symptoms could be connected to an imbalance in your Vata dosha. Vata influences the movement in body and any distortion might affect menstruation cycle like shorter duration & flow.

To address this, let’s focus on calming Vata. Start with increasing warmth in diet and life. Go for foods like stews, soups - think cooked, warm and oily. Spices like ginger, cinnamon, and cardamom can be your sidekicks, they’ll help in stimulating digestion or Agni too. But don’t go too heavy on 'em, moderation is key, like always.

Hydration is important, warm water or herbal teas – cumin or fennel tea can be soothing. For lifestyle, creating routine helps, like waking up and sleeping same times. It stabilizes Vata over time, gives your body some rhythm.

Daily self-massages with sesame oil can ground and nourish your tissues, so miss it not. Abdominal and sacral massages focus your energy where it matters. While you’re at it, a little meditation or deep breathing helps… even if it’s just six mindful breaths a day.

Avoid skipping meals, caffeine overload or excessive dairy, might be pulling strings on Vata. Herbs like Ashwagandha and Shatavari are often suggested for reproductive health in Ayurveda, but always wise to consult with a specialist before diving in.
