Can I take shilajit in pcod condition - #26946

I have heard that taking shilajit in pcod condition can improve hormonal balance, improves bone strength and mood swings. Is shilajit can really help in pcod condition or is there any churna that I can take in pcod condition.

Hello dear,

First of all Avoid excessive kaphavardhak ahar vihar like too sweet, sour, salty foodetc.

And instead of taking SHILAJIT FOR PCOD start taking these medications,

1.Syp.M2 TONE 2tsf twice in a day. 2.shatavari choorna 1tsf B.d.with lukewarm milk. 3.Syp.Amy cordial forte 2 tsf b.d. 4.Tab.Aloes compound 1-0-1 5.Kanchnaar guggulu 2-0-2 for chewing.

Follow up after 45 days. TAKE CARE😊

Chitrakadi vati -2-0-2 before meal for 3 days 2. Nastapushpantak ras 2-0-2 with lukewarm water after meal 3. Patrangasav 4. Ashokaristha- 20 ml of both with 40 ml of water after meal 5.Rajah pravartini vati 2-0-2 after meal 6. Shatavari churna+shatpushpa churna - 3gm each with 1 cup of milk at bedtime Diet- Avoid icecream, colddrink,fast food, oily food especially during periods. Eat fruits,dry fruits,milk instead of snacking on packaged items. Yoga - Anulom vilom, bhastrika, kapalbhati,malasana. Lifestyle modification - . Pratice yoga daily . Sound sleep for atleast 7 hours . Walking for 20 min daily . Stress management -Through meditation, walking, journaling. Food, sleep, bowel habits, even small emotional patterns that people don't even realize are affecting their digestion or immunity — I look at all of it before jumping to treatment. Dietary therapy isn’t just telling people to eat less fried food lol. It’s more about timing, combinations, seasonal influence, and what suits their prakriti. That kind of detail takes time, and sometimes patients don’t get why it matters at first.. but slowly it clicks. Panchakarma — I do it when I feel it's needed. Doesn’t suit everyone all the time, but in the right case, it really clears the stuck layers. But again, it's not magic — people need to prep properly and follow instructions. That's where strong communication matters. I make it a point to explain everything without dumping too much Sanskrit unless they’re curious. I also try to keep things simple, like I don’t want patients feeling intimidated or overwhelmed with 10 things at once. We go step by step — sometimes slow, sometimes quick depending on the case. There’s no “one protocol fits all” in Ayurveda and frankly I get bored doing same thing again and again. Whether it’s a fever that won’t go or long-term fatigue or gut mess — I usually go deep into what's behind it. Surface-level fixes don’t last. I rather take the time than rush into wrong herbs. It’s more work, ya, but makes a diff in long run.
