Managing Anxiety and Digestive Issues at 51 - #37379
Hello, I'm 51 and have a mixture of symptoms. Some I've had for about 25 years with increasing severity: migraines and tensi headaches about 2-8 a month and anxiety almost daily I also have suffered from acid reflux and bile reflux (duodenum sphincter not closing) for about 4 years. I'm addition I've got more recent perimenopausal symptoms such as joint pain, waking up at 3 am and not being able to sleep again due to anxiety. I had a few hot flushes at the end of August but they also stopped. I also had tingling and pain in my hands, lower arms and feet for about 3 months. This has disappeared again since about 2 months. I also have this ongoing pain behind my right eye. I've seenan ayurvedic practitioner who prescribed a vata diet and vata pacifying practices such as nadishodana. I've been taking ashwaganda and brahmi 2x 1000mg each, morning and evening. Since including brahmi I felt lots better. But I've started to experience worse bile reflux and acid reflux with pains in my stomach. SoI can't continue with the herbs. The practitioner I saw is on holiday. Do you have any recommendations what I could take instead? My main issue is the anxiety. As when this is in check I feel much better overall.
