Considering your situation, it seems like your condition is rooted in a chronic Vata imbalance contributing to both your anemia and scanty menstruation. Here’s a holistic approach aligned with Ayurvedic principles:

Firstly, we must address your low hemoglobin levels. To enhance hemoglobin, focus on diet and lifestyle practices that promote Rasa and Rakta dhatu strengthening. Include iron-rich foods that are easy for your body to absorb such as pomegranate, black grapes, green leafy vegetables, and beetroots. Soak a handful of black raisins overnight, have them in the morning. Prefer meals that are warm, cooked, and lightly spiced to improve digestion—agni plays a crucial role in nutrient absorption.

Your daily routine should adapt to counter Vata imbalance. Opportunity for adequate rest is key, alongside a consistent sleep schedule to help calm Vata disturbances. A regular practice of Abhyanga (self-massage) with sesame oil can aid in balancing Vata dosha, nurturing the body and help with hair issues. Focus on pranayama such as Anulom Vilom and meditation techniques to support mental clarity and reduce racing thoughts.

Menstruation concerns can stem from incomplete Rakta dhatu formation, being part of the asthayi dhatus sequence. Drink a decoction made from dried ginger, cumin, and fennel seeds with jaggery during your period to support blood flow. Eating cooked sesame seeds with jaggery can also assist in balancing hormones naturally.

Monitor your stress levels, since stress can exacerbate Vata disorders. Try to incorporate a daily practice of yoga, with asanas that strengthens your interior balance like yoga nidra or shavasana in the evenings.

Be sure to monitor your progress and engage with your healthcare provider to explore further diagnostic assessments or any urgent interventions needed, given your consistent anemia. It’s important that both modern medicine and Ayurveda work hand-in-hand in urgent situations, to optimize your health effectively.
