Instead, favor light, warm meals like moong dal soup with a dash of turmeric. Incorporate ginger tea, which helps enhance digestive fire or Agni and reduce Kapha build-up.

For irregular periods, balancing Vata, particularly, is essential. Ashoka (Saraca asoca) and Lodhra (Symplocos racemosa) are beneficial for supporting reproductive health and regularizing menstrual cycles. These herbs can be taken in powder form, half a teaspoon with honey, twice daily.

Unwanted facial hair may be tied to hormonal imbalances. Consider applying a paste made from gram flour, turmeric, and a little yogurt or milk on facial hair areas. This traditional remedy may help gradually reduce hair growth and improve skin quality. Leave it on for about 15 minutes before washing it off, done regularly.

Regarding weight gain, optimize Agni to ensure better nutrient absorption. Chew carom seeds following meals to stimulate digestion, and consume dates and a handful of soaked almonds daily for healthy caloric intake. Rest properly and engage in yoga, focusing on poses such as Bhujangasana and Dhanurasana to enhance digestion and metabolism.

It’s prudent to also consult with a healthcare professional, as these symptoms might require further investigation, especially related to hormonal imbalances like Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). Timely medical diagnostics can provide a comprehensive understanding and guide necessary interventions.
