Seeking Relief from Recurrent Cough and Gastric Issues - #48363
I have recurrent cough , acidity , burning in chest and gastric issues about more than 4 months i have taken allopathic medicines and ayurvedic medicines too But there is recurrent cough after taking medicines i feels relieved but after 2-3 days cough begins . And now i have some anxiety issues also and itching or dryness present in ear and back . And some khujali,or irritating sensation near the anal region . Dandruff and hairfall from some months increases Past history ofhypertension about 150/ 100 mmhg i take ayurvedic treatment . Now i wantsolution fir the cough , acidity, and gastric related problems is my main concern

1. Urdhwaga Amlapitta (GERD/Hyperacidity)
2. Vata-Pitta prakopa (burning chest, dryness, anxiety)
3. Kaphaja Kasa triggered by reflux (recurrent cough)
4. Kandu / Twak vikara tendency (itching, dandruff, anal itching)
🌿 AYURVEDIC PRESCRIPTION (4 Weeks)
1) MAIN MEDICINES (Internal)
A) For acidity + burning chest (Pitta pacification)
✅ Avipattikar Churna
Dose: 1 tsp (3–5 g)
Twice daily after meals
With lukewarm water
Duration: 30 days
B) For chronic reflux + healing of stomach lining
✅ Yashtimadhu (Licorice) powder
Dose: ½ tsp
Twice daily
With warm water or milk (if milk suits)
Duration: 30 days
(If capsule available: 500 mg twice daily)
C) For recurrent cough due to reflux + throat irritation
✅ Sitopaladi Churna
Dose: ½ tsp
Twice daily
With honey (only if no diabetes)
Duration: 21 days
D) If cough has mucus / heaviness / congestion
✅ Talisadi Churna
Dose: ½ tsp
Twice daily
With honey
Duration: 21 days
(Use Sitopaladi OR Talisadi depending on symptom; if unsure choose Sitopaladi.)
E) For digestive correction + gas + recurrent symptoms
✅ Hingvashtak Churna
Dose: ½ tsp
Once daily with lunch
Duration: 15 days only
⚠️ Avoid if burning is very high. If burning increases, stop.

✅ Kamdudha Ras (Plain)
Dose: 1 tablet twice daily
After meals
Duration: 10–14 days

✅ Brahmi Vati
Dose: 1 tab at night
After dinner

3) LOCAL REMEDIES (External)
A) For cough/irritation
✅ Steam inhalation
Plain water steam 5–7 min
Once daily at night
B) For itching/dryness in ear
✅ Anu Taila / Ksheerabala Taila
1–2 drops in each nostril (Nasya)
Morning, empty stomach
5 days, then stop 2 days, repeat
Helps ENT dryness + post nasal drip
⚠️ Don’t use if cold/fever.
C) For anal itching (Kandu)
✅ Sitz bath in warm water + Triphala
Triphala powder 1 tsp in warm water
Sit 5–10 min daily
✅ Apply Jatyadi Taila locally at night.

✅ Sleep with head elevated
Use 2 pillows or wedge pillow
✅ Do NOT lie down for 2 hours after eating
✅ Walk 10–15 minutes after dinner
