If you used protection during your physical contact, the likelihood of HIV transmission is generally low. Condoms, when used correctly, are highly effective in reducing the risk of HIV and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs). The presence of seminal fluid inside the protection suggests it was used properly, which further minimizes your risk.

However, there’s always a very minimal possibility of condom breakage or improper use, which could potentially increase risk, but this scenario is rare. Since you haven’t experienced any alarming symptoms and considering your timeline of donating blood after the encounter, it’s unlikely you’ve been infected. Blood banks perform comprehensive screening on donated blood for HIV and other infections. If there had been any indicators of HIV, the blood bank would typically notify you, or reject the blood.

In Ayurveda, maintaining a balanced lifestyle, and paying attention to your Agni, or digestive fire, can support your overall health and immunity. For instance, drinking warm water regularly, consuming ginger tea, or incorporating herbs like tulsi and turmeric in your diet, can aid in maintaining strong immunity. These options are best suited to your Prakriti, or natural constitution.

If you’re still concerned, it’s a good idea to take an HIV test for peace of mind. Testing provides clarity and helps relieve any anxiety you may have. Moving forward, if you’re unsure about the HIV status of a partner, always using protection and openly communicating about sexual health is important for your health and wellbeing.

Remember, health involves both physical and mental peace; worrying excessively can disturb the harmony in your system. Listen to your body and trust the balance of actions and routine you’re incorporating!
