-This ongoing discomfort is not uncommon, because herpes simplex virus (HSV) can cause post-lesion nerve irritation, known as postherpetic neuralgia (in rare cases) or more commonly just post-healing discomfort. -Internal Medicines **Guduchi decoction – 30 ml, twice daily before meals **Turmeric + honey – ½ tsp turmeric + 1 tsp honey, twice daily after meals **Triphala powder – 3 g with warm water, at bedtime -External Application Ghee or coconut oil with turmeric paste – apply gently on affected area, 2–3 times daily Aloe vera gel – apply on the area, 2 times daily Neem paste – apply thin layer, once daily -Diet & Lifestyle Avoid spicy, oily, sour foods (Pitta-pacifying diet) Drink warm water and herbal teas Avoid scratching Practice meditation or deep breathing for stress management
