HELLO, A creatinine rise from 4.7 to 7.9 mg/dL in 1 month is very serious and suggests worsening kidney function. This is not a mild change- it may indicate progression toward advanced kidney failure. Since this increase happened after starting Ayurvedic medicines, they may be contributing to kidney injury YOU MENTIONED TAKING -Divya Renogrit -Chandraprabha vati -Divya corighan -Punarnavadi mandoor -Gokshuradi guggulu IMPORTANT ADVICE YES- you should STOP these medicines immediately until evaluated by nephrologist REASONS -some ayurvedic formulation may contain heavy metals- lead, mercury, arsenic -Certain herbs can worsen kidney function if already impaired -A creatinine of 7.9 is dangerously high and may require urgent medical care -continuing them could push you towards dialysis Go to hospital immediately if you have -reduced urine output -swelling in legs/face -breathlessness -severe weakness -nausea/weakness -confusion WHAT YOU SHOULD DO NOW -Stop all Ayurvedic medications immediately -see a nephrologist urgently within 24-48 hours -Repeat serum creatinine, urea, potassium, urine test -Do not take any herbal or OTC medicines without doctor approval DIET ADVICE -low salt diet -restrict potassium- avoid banana, coconut water, orange, tomato , spinach -Moderate protein (do not take high protein diet -avoid processed foods -drink fluids only as advised by doctors Because you mentioned your diet is low in nutrients- malnutrition + kidney failure is dangerous. A renal dietitian consultation is very helpful A creatinine of 7.9 is not a mil issue. Please treat this as urgent Do not rely only on Ayurvedic treatment right now THANK YOU
