Hi doctor. For how long can I take fenugreek water and eat the soaked seeds? I have been taking it daily for more than a month for better digestion and regulate blood sugar as I am prediabetic. I do not take medication for blood sugar. Thank you.

Fenugreek (Methi) use Take for 8–12 weeks, then break 2–3 weeks Dose: 1 tsp soaked seeds (5–6 g) morning empty stomach Max: 10 g/day Add (if needed): Nishamalaki Churna – 1 tsp twice daily before meals Triphala Churna – 1 tsp at night Monitor sugar; reduce if weakness or acidity occurs

You can take soaked methi for 2 months regularly…if you are not experiencing any heat changes in the body or loose motions… As summer is here…methi causes heat generally but soaked methi will not be that much of an issue… After sometime you can take break for 1-2 week…and restart again In that break, you can opt for- Jamun seed powder- on an empty stomach Curry leaves-6-7 daily on an empty stomach Stay Healthy Dr Shubhi

If you are tolerating it well, many people can safely use soaked fenugreek seeds and water for 2–3 months continuously, followed by a short break or reassessment. How to Take It Safely 1–2 teaspoons soaked overnight is usually enough. Drink the water and chew the softened seeds in the morning. Avoid excessive amounts, as too much may cause: Gas or loose stools Excess body heat Low blood sugar in sensitive individuals Note For better results in prediabetes: Continue light regular exercise/walking Avoid excess sugar, refined flour, and late-night eating Include: Amla Cinnamon (small quantity) Bitter vegetables Fiber-rich foods
