Hii doctor resently I'm having a Liv Max_DS capsule n after I started this medicine I have seen so many changes on me like graning more weight so I want to asked likeis it ok to hav this medicine,onl 3 time a week

If you gained weight after starting Liv Max_DS, the medicine may not be suiting your digestion or metabolism. Some liver tonics can increase appetite and water retention in certain people. You can stop it for 1–2 weeks and observe. Taking it only 3 times weekly may reduce side effects, but consult the prescribing doctor. Take Triphala churna 5 g at bedtime with warm water Punarnava Mandur 1 tablet twice daily after food Light diet, avoid fried and sugary foods Daily walking and early dinner If rapid weight gain, swelling, or bloating occurs, check liver function and thyroid profile.
Liv Max-DS generally should not cause 10 kg weight gain directly, but if weight has increased after starting it, we should review the need, dose, diet, liver function and digestion. Since your diet is high-calorie/junk and there is no exercise, weight gain may be mainly due to Kapha–Meda vriddhi and poor metabolism. —Advice: -Don’t continue Liv Max-DS on your own for long term. -Taking it 3 times/week is not ideal without doctor guidance; better to stop/review -Do LFT, lipid profile, thyroid, fasting sugar/HbA1c if weight gain is >10 kg. -Avoid fried food, sweets, cold drinks, bakery, late-night eating. -Start 30–40 min brisk walk daily. -Take warm water, light dinner, more vegetables/soups.
