Doctors' responses
●Hello Given your age and health status, foam in the urine and mild elevation of creatinine is a sign that should be taken seriously. From the point of view of Ayurveda, it indicates an excess of ‘Klead’ (toxic substances) and an imbalance of ‘Apana Vayu’ in the vasti (urinary system). Your current medications (Glucophage, Dovan, Lipitor) are necessary to control your metabolism and blood pressure, so do not stop them suddenly. Our aim in Ayurvedic treatment is to reduce the burden on the kidney (kidneys), purify the urinary tract and strengthen the renal tubules. The ayurvedic medicines you have asked about are excellent for kidney health, but before taking them it is important to understand that diet is the most important. ●Ayurvedic treatment and management The following Ayurvedic method may be helpful in managing elevated creatinine and fen in urine. First, make a Musta-Saunf decoction as an adjuvant drink for the kidneys: soak 1/2 teaspoon of Musta and 1 teaspoon of fennel in 1 cup of warm water for 10 minutes. According to Ayurvedic method, this decoction is considered helpful in balancing urine flow and gradually strengthening kidney function. ●Additionally, for urinary disorders, make a powder of punarnava (5 parts), gokshura (3 parts) and saunf (2 parts) and mix 1/2 part in shilaji. Take 1/2 teaspoon of this mixture twice a day with some liquid; This mixture is highly effective in keeping the urinary tract active, reducing blockages and supporting the body’s natural processes. Also, include Punranavasav (2 teaspoons, twice a day on stomach), ●Chandraprabha Gulika (2 tablets, twice a day after meals), Chandansava (2 teaspoons, three times a day after meals) and Brahatyadi Kwath (2 teaspoons, twice a day after meals) in your routine. ●Essential lifestyle and dietary guidelines Protein intake:Maintain a balanced protein intake on the advice of your doctor, as more protein may increase creatinine. Hydration: Maintain water intake throughout the day. Drink neither too little nor too much at once, it is best to sip water little by little. Uric Acid Control: Since you have chronic uric acid, limit your intake of purine-rich foods (pulses, pulses, meat). Caution:Be sure to inform your current doctor (who is seeing your allopathic medicines) before starting Varun Chan or any other new herbs, as the effects of Ayurvedic medicines may interact with your current medicines. ▪︎Do you know your current creatinine level and are you experiencing any other symptoms such as swelling in your feet or ankles?
