My baby was born a few days ago, and although everything went well during labor, I was told by the pediatrician that my newborn has caput succedaneum. I was informed that this is a common condition where the baby’s head has some swelling due to the pressure exerted during delivery, especially with a long or complicated labor. Although the doctor assured me that it’s a temporary condition that will resolve itself within a few days, I’m still concerned and want to ensure that my baby’s health is supported during this recovery process. I’ve heard that Ayurveda offers gentle treatments and remedies that can help soothe the baby during this time and promote healing. Are there any Ayurvedic oils or herbs that can help with swelling and promote overall well-being in newborns?
