A few weeks back, I had a bad stomach infection, and my doctor prescribed ofloxacin tablet for it. The symptoms were really bad—diarrhea, stomach cramps, and weakness. After taking the ofloxacin tablet for a few days, the infection cleared up, but now I feel like my digestion is completely messed up. My stomach feels bloated all the time, and I get acidity even after eating light food. I also feel tired and weak, like my energy levels just won’t go back to normal. I was reading that ofloxacin tablet is a strong antibiotic, and it can kill both good and bad bacteria in the gut. Maybe that’s why I feel this way? I also noticed that my appetite has reduced, and I get weird stomach pain sometimes. I didn’t have these issues before taking the ofloxacin tablet. Now I’m wondering if Ayurveda can help me restore my gut health after using ofloxacin tablet. Are there any Ayurvedic herbs or remedies to bring back good digestion? Do I need to follow a special diet to heal my stomach? I heard that certain Ayurvedic medicines can help balance digestion after antibiotics—should I try them?
