Dont worry start with this advice - Eat warm, moist, calorie-dense foods to pacify Vata and kindle Agni. 3 main meals + 2 snacks; chew slowly. Breakfast: Oat porridge or sweetened rice kheer with ghee, almonds, and dates (300-400 cal). Lunch/Dinner: Khichdi or dal-rice with veggies (carrots, beets), ghee (1 tsp/meal), and non-veg soup if you eat meat (e.g., goat/chicken broth for quick strength). Snacks: Banana with peanut butter, full-fat yogurt with honey, or goat milk (2 glasses/day—super restorative for TB). Daily Add-Ins: Ghee (2-3 tsp total), sesame seeds, figs, and herbal teas (licorice or ginger for digestion). Hydration: 8-10 glasses warm water; sip fennel tea to avoid bloating. Avoid: Raw salads, caffeine, processed foods—they weaken digestion.

Lifestyle Tips (To Support Absorption and Energy) Rest & Routine: Sleep 8 hours/night Gentle Movement: Walk 20-30 mins daily or simple yoga (e.g., child’s pose, seated twists) to build stamina without exhaustion. 10 mins pranayama (alternate nostril breathing) morning/evening Oil Massage: Warm Tila oil massage full body 2-3x/week before bath

Alongside take these- 1. Chyawanprash 1tsp empty stomach with warm milk 2.Ashwagandha powder 1tsp-0-1tsp in warm milk after food twice a day

TB infection can take a toll on the body, and it’s understandable why you’re seeking ways to regain lost weight safely. While homeopathic medicines like Alfalfa and Natrum Muriaticum are touted for various benefits, I’ll focus on Ayurvedic approaches, as that’s where my expertise lies.

First, understand that Ayurveda treats each person individually, taking into account their unique constitution, or prakriti. This may includ balancing your doshas, likely focusing on vata and pitta, given your history of TB and weight loss.

To promote healthy weight gain, focus on agni, or your digestive fire. Enhancing agni is crucial for proper nutrient absorption and can help rebuild strength. Consider incorporating ginger tea before meals. A mix of fresh ginger juice with honey can also be beneficial, but ensure it’s taken on an empty stomach to kickstart metabolism.

For diet, opt for nutrient-dense foods to steadily nourish the dhatus or bodily tissues. Cooked, warm meals like khichdi or dal with ghee are ideal for providing energy without burdening digestion. Adding protein-rich foods like lentils, beans, tofu, or paneer to your meals is key.

Ayurvedic herbs might also aid your recovery. Consult a qualified practitioner about Ashwagandha and Shatavari, both known for their tonifying properties. They can enhance strength without adverse effects when used correctly.

Rest and mental peace are also essential in Ayurveda. Regular mindfulness practices like deep breathing, meditation, and yoga can stabilize your mental state, which often aligns with physical health.

Lastly, always ensure you remain under a healthcare provider’s supervision to monitor your progress and prevent TB relapse. Avoid any self-prescribed treatments without consultation. If in doubt, seeking professional advice for tailored treatments is always wise.

Weight gain after recovering from tuberculosis is a common need, and it’s good you’re thinking about returning to a healthier state. In Siddha-Ayurvedic tradition, achieving a balance of the doshas is essential to restore vitality and support healthy weight gain. For this, focus on nourishing and easily digestible foods that enhance your Agni, or digestive fire, and support the Dhatus, or tissue systems.

First, include nutrient-dense foods like ghee, milk, and nuts in your diet. Ghee, especially, is revered for its capacity to nourish the ojas, the subtle essence of the Dhatus, and increase vitality. You can take a teaspoon of ghee in warm milk daily. Also, almonds and cashews soaked overnight make a good start to the day.

Incorporate herbs like Ashwagandha and Shatavari, which help to enhance strength and immunity. You can take them in powder or capsule form with milk for better absorption. Begin with 1/2 teaspoon of each herb mixed with a glass of warm milk, taken once or twice a day.

Focus on meals rich in protein and healthy fats, like lentils, and mung beans. They should be part of every meal if possible. Cook them with warming spices like cumin and ginger to further aid digestion.

As for the homeopathic remedies you mentioned like Alfalfa and Natrum Muriaticum, it’s best to consult with a qualified homeopathic practitioner. They can offer a tailored approach based on your individual condition.

Remember, weight gain should be gradual and balanced to ensure sustainable health. Avoid heavy, oily, and junk foods that may lead to poor digestion and imbalance the doshas. Prioritize rest and stress-reducing activities as they play an essential role in your recovery and overall well-being.
