I am taking Indukantha kashyam tab(keralaAyurveda ) and Stressnil tab(nagarjuna ) since 15 days. Hence it is showing my body weight reduced to 2kg and stress level and sleeplessness not yet improve. Pl suggest

Your symptoms- weight loss despite good appetite,severe stress, and poor sleep- show that your mind and body energies are not in harmony

In Ayurveda, health depends on the balance of three energies or doshas -Vata= movement and nervous energy -Pitta= digestion, metabolism intensity -Kapha= stability, nourishemt

Right now, you have an increase in Vata and Pitta dosha

STRESS, ANXIETY, OVERTHINKNIG=increase vata in the mind prana vata disturbance

SLEEPLESSNESS= vata-pitta imbalance in nervous system

WEIGHT LOSS DESPITE APPETITE= digestive fire is irregular, nutrient not primarilyabsorbed

INCREASED APPETITE= pitta dominance strong digestive urge

FATIGUE, RESTLESSNESS= nervous depletion due to vata aggravatio

So, even though you eat well, your body is not building tissues properly because the “fire” that digests food is unsteady and overactive, and the wind (vata) that moves that fire is disturbed by stress

TREATMENT GOALS -calm the mind and nervous system -improve quality of sleep naturally -regulate digestion and absorption so weight stabilize -restore energy and emotional balance -enahcne resilience to stress through rejuvenation therapy

INTERNAL MEDICATIONS

1) INDUKANTHA KASHAYAM TAB= 2 tabs twice daily after meals with warm water for 6 weeks -strengthens digestion and immunity, clears toxins, and supports energy

2) STRESSNIL TAB (nagarjun)= 1 tab twice daily after meals for 8 weeks =improves stress tolerance and supports sound sleep

3) ASHWAGANDHA LEHAYAM= 1 tsp twice daily after meals with warm milk for 3 months =nourishes the tissues, reduces anxiety, balance vata, and aids sleep

4) SARASEWATARISHTA= 15 ml twice daily after meal with equal water for 6 weeks -enhances mental calmness supports memory and concentration , improves mood

5) MANASMITRA VATAKAM= 1 tab at bedtime with warm milk -calssical brain tonic that relaxes the. mind, aids sleep, and relieves anxiety

EXTERNAL THERAPY

1) OIL MASSAGE= warm Ksheerbala taila daily before bath =calms vata, improves circulation, nourishes the body and promotes relaxation

2) STEAM= mild steam after massage =relieves stiffness

3) NASYA= instill 2 drops of brahmi ghrita In each nostril after bath =clears the channels of the head, improves mood, relieves stress

DIET -warm, freshly cooked meals -cow’s ghee= 1 tsp/day improves memory and calm the mind -whole grains= red rice, wheat, oats -milk= especially at night with nutmeg or cardamom -fruits= banana, sweet apple, dates, figs - vegetables= carrots, pumpkin, beetroot, spinach -spices= cumin, coriander, turmeric, fennel ,cinnamon - hydration= sip warm water or herbal teas(cumin-coriander-fenel mix)

AVOID -cold or leftover foods -fried, spicy, or dry dry items -tea,coffee,alcohol,smoking -skipping meals or eating while stressed

HOME REMEDIES -nutmegmilk= boil 1 cup milk with a pinch of nutmeg powder drink before bed-> improves sleep -Ashwagandha or brahmi tea= calms mind and reduce stress -warm water with 1/2 tsp ghee at betime-> pacifies vata, improve slseep -soaked almonds and dates in morning= nourish body prevent weight loss

LIFESTYLE -sleep by 10 pm, wake up early but rested - avoid excessive screen time, social media or late night work -keep a consistent daily rouitne- meals, sleep, exercise at regular times -spend some time daily in nature, quiet reflection, or prayer -maitain supportive relationships,express emotions, instead of suppressing them

YOGA AND PRANAYAM -shavasana= deep relaxation -balasana= calms mind, relieves fatigue -viparita karani= improves blood flow to brain -anulomvilom= Balances Vata and pitta -bhramari= reduces anxiety, aids sleep -nadisodhana= clears energy channels, induces calm

Long in a lean or stressed person it can increase vata and cause mild weight loss dryness and disturbed sleep Stressing helps calm the mind but it works better when vata is first balanced with nourishment and rest Stop infukantha for now Take ashwagandha aristha 15 ml with equal quantity of water twice daily CHYWANPRASH 1 tsp daily Eat warm oily home cooked food rice dal milk with ghee almonds dates Avoid fasting or cold items Massage with warm sesame oil before bath Continue stressnil for few more weeks but balance it with above supportive measures You should notice improvement in sleep and energy with in 10 to 15 days

Find yourself a nearby Panchakarma centre and go for Panchakarma therapy which is Shirodhara with Tila Tail for 10 days. (In this continuous stream of oil is poured over forehead for 40-45 minutes. It soothes the nervous system and decrease stress level and anxiety.
