Managing diabetes, along with blood pressure, cholesterol, and sexual health issues requires comprehensive approach in Ayurveda, focusing on balancing doshas, particularly Kapha and Vata. To tackle diabetes, Ayurveda emphasizes on controlling diet and lifestyle. For diabetes, the use of jamun (Indian blackberry) seeds, usually dried and then ground into powder form, can help in managing sugar levels. A teaspoon mixed with water on an empty stomach each morning can be beneficial.

For balancing high blood pressure, herbs like Arjuna and Ashwagandha may be helpful. A tea made from Arjuna bark, typically consumed 2 times a day, can support cardiovascular health. Similarly, taking a supplement of Ashwagandha in capsule form, one tablet daily, can help in stabilizing stress levels which indirectly impacts BP.

Cholesterol can be managed with Guggul, well-known for its lipid-lowering properties. The Commiphora mukul resin can be taken as a 500 mg capsule, twice daily, post meals. However, this should be used cautiously in case of any liver disorders. Pay attention to your diet; increase fiber intake through fruits, vegetables and whole grains.

Regarding sexual health, Shilajit is often recommended to enhance vitality and address related concerns. Shilajit powder or capsule, taken with milk or warm water in the evening, might improve energy levels.

Make sure to adjust your diet to emphasize light, easily digestible meals. Avoid sugars, because obvious, and reduce high-fat and processed foods. Consuming a simple kitchari diet–which includes cooked mung beans and rice can aid in maintaining proper digestion and stabilizing energy.

Physical activity is important as well; aim for moderate exercise, like walking or yoga, for atleast 30 minutes a day. Always consult an Ayurvedic practitioner, specially with existing medications to avoid interactions. This holistic approach caters your whole system, not just the symptoms.

HELLO,

In type 2 diabetes, your body still makes insulin, but your cells stop responding properly to it. This is called insulin resistance. Because of that, sugar from your food stays in your blood instead of going into your cells for energy.

Gradually, your pancreas gets tired ad produces less insulin, causing your blood sugar to rise even more.

In Ayurveda, diabetes is seen as “Madhumeha”, one of the 20 types of prameha- disorders related to metabolism and urinary system.

YOU ALSO OBSERVED= sexual problem, bp , cholestrol

It occurs mainly due to -Kapha imbalance too much heaviness, sluggishness, mucus formation -Medo Dhatus dushti fat tissue dysfunction -agni mandya=weak digestive fire -ama formation- toxic waste due to improper digestion -vata aggravatio in advanced stages causing excessive urination ad weakness

TREATMENT GOALS -balance kapha and meda- to remove the root cause -kindle agni (digestive fire)- to improve digestion and metabolism -remove ama (toxins)- to clear channels and restore insulin sensitivity -rejuvenate tissue especially pancreas, liver -support mental and emotional health- because stress raises blood sugar - avoid complications

When dealing with diabetes combined with blood pressure, cholesterol, and sexual health concerns, an integrated approach focusing on balance and nourishment is essential. Let’s break it down according to Siddha-Ayurvedic principles.

Firstly, diabetes is primarily related to a kapha and vata imbalance. It’s critical to focus on dietary discipline. Avoid sugary and processed foods, and incorporate bitter and astringent tastes like fenugreek seeds in your diet. Soaking 1 teaspoon of fenugreek seeds overnight and consuming them in the morning might be beneficial.

For blood pressure management, add garlic to your meals, which can support cardiovascular health and reduce kapha dosha. If cholesterol is a worry, include guggul in your routine; it’s known for its ability to positively affect cholesterol levels. Consuming 1-2 tablets of guggul extract, after consulting your healthcare provider for dosage, should be effective.

Sexual health can be improved by enhancing vitality and ojas — the essence of all dhatus. Ashwagandha is renowned for its rejuvenating properties and might be used to restore balance and vitality, suggested as 1 capsule or 1/4 teaspoon powder with milk before bed.

Continued emphasis on enhancing agni (digestive fire) is crucial. Triphala, taken at night with warm water, can aid digestion and help maintain internal cleansing. Also, a daily routine that includes pranayama practices to stabilize prana vayu will have a positive effect across these conditions.

Given the complexity of your situation, concurrent medical supervision by your physician is advisable, especially for monitoring interactions if you are using conventional medications. Remember to make these adjustments gradually and observe how your body responds. Adapt changes according to your practitioner’s guidance if needed.
