How can i clear acne marks, and what canI do for thin hair. I am a hypothyroid and take enough protein. ButI have flaky scalp too. Please suggest effective remedies to treat both skin and hair.

Your acne marks thin hair, and flaky, irritated, scalp, or maintained due to hypothyroidism, causing skin hair turnover, and scalp imbalance Even with enough protein, poor absorption and scalp dryness, lead to hair, thin flakes and delayed fading of acne marks

For internal support, take Kanchanar guggulu one tablet twice daily after food with warm water Arogyavardini vati one tablet twice daily after food with warm water Mahamanjistadi aristha 4 teaspoon with equal amount of water twice daily after meals Neem capsule one capsule twice daily after food Amlaki rasayana 1 teaspoon with warm water at morning

This will help thyroid balance, clear skin marks, and improve hair strength

Neelabringadi taila-scarp to be done twice weekly for overnight, and then at morning, wash with mild herbal shampoo

For a skin apply Kumkumadi tailam -2 to 3 drops over face and do massage in circular/for 5 to 10 minutes

Follow this regularly for 6 to 8 weeks as thyroid balance and scalp health, improve acne marks, fade, and hair thickness will gradually improve

For acne marks Apply Aloe vera gel on face. Use Sun screen SPF 50+ during the day. Kumkumadi oil on face at night before bedtime twice weekly. For Thin hair Start with Amalaki Rasayan 1-0-1 after food with water Ashwagandha churan 0-0-1tsp at bedtime with water . Apply Neelibhringadi oil on scalp twice weekly keep overnight and morning wash with herbal anti hairfall shampoo Donot expose to direct Sun rays. Wear hat or use umbrella or scarf when going out during the day. Include fresh green vegetables in your diet semi cooked sauted. Include seasonal fruits and vegetables in your diet. Do pranayam lom -vilom bhastrika bhamri 5-10mins daily twice.

Internally 1. Khadirarishtam 10 ml twice daily just after food.

Externally, 1. Make home made oil with curry leaves, rosemary, fenugreek seeds and apply thrice in a week. 2. Triphala coornam boiled in some water and use it at room temperature for hair wash regularly. (Don’t use the sedimented powder daily. Use it twice a week as a scrubber)

For face, 1. Eladi choornam mix with some water apply for 10 minutes twice a week. 2. Eladi oil can be applied for 30 minutes before bath regularly 3. Kumkumadi oil 2 drops at night as night serum

Hello I​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ totally get your point. Managing acne marks, thin hair, and a flaky and irritated scalp can be a real pain, especially if you already have hypothyroidism.

But, with a combined internal and external Ayurvedic approach, skin and hair can get healthy again and gradually show positive results.

YOUR CONCERN

You are going through: Post-acne marks (post-acne pigmentation) Hair thinning even with sufficient protein intake Flaky and irritated scalp Hypothyroidism (on treatment) Trigger: Changes in weather

According to Ayurveda, this points to a mixture of: Pitta imbalance → acne marks, pigmentation, scalp irritation Vata imbalance + Dhatu kshaya → thin hair, dryness Agni disturbance (even with good diet) → poor tissue nourishment

AYURVEDIC MANAGEMENT PLAN

1. INTERNAL MEDICATION (For skin clarity, hair strengthening & scalp balance)

1. Amalaki Rasayan – 1 tsp every morning with lukewarm water (Makes the skin glow, lightens pigmentation, and helps hair growth)

2. Bhringaraj Capsule – 1 capsule twice daily after food (Strengthens hair roots and improves the condition of the scalp)

3. Triphala Churna – ½ tsp at bedtime with warm water (Strengthens the digestive system and detoxifies blood—very important for acne control)

4. Guduchi Satva – 1 tsp twice daily (A very good blood purifier and reduces the inflammatory face area acne)

👉 These medicines are good together with the thyroid medicine but do not forget to keep a 1-2 hour gap.

A visible result will appear after about 8–12 weeks.

2. EXTERNAL CARE

🌿 For Acne Marks (Face Care) Use Kumkumadi Taila Twice or thrice a day, 2–3 drops Light and gentle rubbing, leave overnight Wash with water the next day

➡️ Great through the lightening of acne marks, the skin texture getting even, and the face glowing.

🌿 For Thin Hair & Flaky Scalp

Oiling (2–3 times/week): Neelibhringadi Taila or Bhringaraj Taila should be the oil of your choice Massage gently for 10 minutes Leave for 30–60 minutes (or overnight if dandruff is dry) Wash with a mild herbal shampoo

If the flakes are heavy: Mix a few drops of oil with aloe vera gel and apply to the scalp once a week.

DIET RECOMMENDATIONS

Amla, pomegranate Green leafy vegetables Moong dal, sprouts Flaxseeds or soaked black sesame (1 tsp/day) Sufficient warm water

❌ AVOID

Too much sugar and refined carbs Fried, spicy, and oily foods Too much dairy (especially at night) Cold drinks

LIFESTYLE & SCALP CARE TIPS

Do not wash your hair with hot water Don’t scratch your scalp Avoid chemical hair products Sleep before 10:30 pm Practice Anulom Vilom and Sheetali Pranayama daily Gently cleanse your face twice a day—and do not use harsh scrubs

Medicines • Mahamanjishthadi Kashayam: 15ml mixed with 15ml warm water, twice daily (before food). • Gandhak Rasayan: 2 tablets twice daily after food. • Saptamrit Lauh: 1 tablet twice daily after food.

External Therapy • For Face (Acne Marks): Apply Kumkumadi Tailam on the marks every night. Massage gently for 2 minutes and leave it on. • For Scalp (Flaky/Thin Hair): Mix Durdurapatradi Tailam with equal parts Coconut Oil. Apply to the scalp 30 minutes before washing. (Avoid heavy oils like Castor/Olive).

Dietary & Lifestyle Advice • Eat 2 Brazil Nuts or a spoonful of Pumpkin Seeds daily. • Drink Coriander Water (seeds soaked overnight) daily. • Change your pillowcase every 2 days to prevent transfer of bacteria from scalp to face.
